Royal has often posted high package prices on distant cruises.   Its been discussed here many time long before the virus.  
In the end the market dictates the price.  If package prices are too high people won't buy them, then they lower prices until the desired sales volume is reached.  

They probably need the final figures from accounting on how many $18 BDPs they refunded ... then the prices will drop! ??

Hi, all!  I was wondering if someone had a picture of the balcony handle mechanism or new a good way to lock down the balcony door on the Enchantment of the Seas ship?  I am traveling with a boy who will love it, but I worry.  Thanks!

LOL.  I was doing March on the EOS, and it was scrubbed.  Now, I am doing Key West, Nassau, and Coco Cay in late September.........Guess it will be an adventure!

A big question is who is in your party?  I will never again do late dining with little kids (ended up snacking by the pool and were never hungry).  It was a different cruise line, but the same philosophy counts.....

I got upgraded from a guaranteed interior stateroom to an oceanview window cabin after final payment date for no difference in price by calling a couple of different times.  The first person told me that it was not possible to upgrade because the upgraded room type I wanted cost the same or less now.  The second person upgraded me for no additional charge (I was shocked and very happy....I was expecting to have to pay at least something).  Now, this process took about an hour on the phone between both calls but was worth it in the end for me.

I'm actually sailing this same itinerary but not until later in June.  Please take some pictures of the Daily Cruise Compass and send to @Matt when you get back so we can take a look at all the activities!
Having said that, you can see prior Enchantment Cruse Planners at the link below.  This can give you an idea of some of what the ship has to offer.  Yes, there's no water slides or things like that, but there's still plenty to do on Enchantment.  My wife and I had a blast on our cruise last summer, so much so we did not hesitate to book on Enchantment again this summer.

I have never sailed Royal Caribbean before and got the Key for a March 30, 2020, sailing on The Enchantment of the Seas out of Galveston, TX.  It was roughly $200 more than just the internet (we need it for medical reasons).  The nice meals coming and going plus some timesavers/service to make things easier were appealing to me.  I know you can work around this and do not need it, but we are traveling with our two children (one is a Type 1 diabetic and one has severe ADHD) for our 10th anniversary.  I wanted the easy button and viewed the upcharge as worth it in relation to most excursions.
