jaredhamburg Posted March 5, 2020 Report Share Posted March 5, 2020 Hello, everyone! I am leaving Galveston, TX, on the Enchantment of the Seas going to Key West, Coco Cay, and Nassau on 3/30/2020. I know this is not a new ship with all the bells and whistles; but, for people who have been on it, what are your favorite aspects? I just do not want to miss something cool. Please take some pictures of the Daily Cruise Compass and send to @Matt when you get back so we can take a look at all the activities! Having said that, you can see prior Enchantment Cruse Planners at the link below. This can give you an idea of some of what the ship has to offer. Yes, there's no water slides or things like that, but there's still plenty to do on Enchantment. I have been looking at the cruise compasses, but they have been for shorter cruises on that ship. Do you by chance know of anything fun to do as spouses in the afternoon or late morning? What did you both like? We will use the kids zone some during those times and were thinking of trivia but wanted to see what people who had been there/done that think. Thanks! melmar02 Posted March 6, 2020 Report Share Posted March 6, 2020 We were just on Enchantment last month, and we loved how easy it was to get to everything compared to a Voyager or Freedom Class ship (Oasis and Quantum too, but I have no experience on those). The trivia is always fun. We try to play bingo once a cruise, never expecting to win of course. The activities staff running it in February (Tom) was funny and got people involved and laughing. They have a paper airplane competition and egg drop challenge in the Centrum. In May DH and I will be back on Enchantment without the kids, so I'm sure we'll have a much different experience this time...more casino and naps/less pool. Momof4crazytocruise Posted March 6, 2020 Report Share Posted March 6, 2020 We've been on Enchantment twice in the last 6 months. We loved it! It's so easy to get around, the service is impeccable, and we thought the food, especially on our last cruise 2 weeks ago was outstanding! Don't miss the Parade of Flags on the last night. We've cruised her once with out kids and once with. The kids loved it too. With the kids, we also participated in the egg drop challenge, which was a lot of fun. On boarding day, the Windjammer is packed - so if you don't want the crowds, head to the cafe in the solarium to get a bite to eat.
