My end of August it dropped from $65 to $52. I’m hoping it drops further. Keep an eye on the price and cancel/repurchase if it drops further. I think Royal is still trying to figure out pricing.

same to me. I just capitalized a letter so I didn't have to try to remember something new lol
When my son's college started with the students having to change their password every "x" number of days I told them to put a number at the end and to up the So number each change. They essentially started with an 1 at the end and by the time they graduated they were up to 24. Can you imagine changing your password that many times?!!

I wish I had known. The change password trick did work.
I tried that and it said “you cannot use a previous password. Go figure.

Had to change my password to gain access-I let my secretary know (my daughter)-she manages my cruises when I have the inevitable issue of trying to use Royals website while sailing and I have connectivity or other issues. I’d like Royal to note this is my second password change in a year and my secretary doesn’t appreciate this forced change.

Can't make this stuff up... I just received another balance due notice for the same amount. Checked my cards, no refunds, just asking for this $159.18 again. So, paid it through the app, AGAIN, full on Kardashian style- just throw money at it to try and make this issue go away.
The payment received invoice came through and now there is a random casino code (YKD9) attached to the payment Every time I have made any kind of price adjustment (reprice when the fare dips) a new code is added - it is very odd- now they slapped a code on this black Friday debacle. Yes, I know- I should have a TA
I had a TA and it really did not make it better. Royal called him, I had my 10 cruises of purchases/cancellations and repurchases and the credit card statements and email trails. . They went over line items with him on 7 reservations that were not his along with the 3 that were his. A complete waste of his time and quite frankly non of his business on those other reservations!!!

We spend the day at the pool but quit using pool chairs/loungers because of the 30 minute vacancy limit. We found ourselves in the pool making conversation and often ended up staying in the water well beyond the 30 minutes. It took a while to get used to not using a chair at all and sometimes it is a challenge where to put towels, sandals, phones, suntan lotion, etc. but it’s the right thing to do as a lot of people want to lay and read or visit in the chair. They should have access to the chairs and loungers. If you are not in it, release it.

No music at chill island except for inconsiderate passengers on occasion who think you’re there to listen to their music.
hideaway has the DJ, and also has a live band (haven’t seen them in 3 visits).
I imagine if you chose the far end of the beach at Hideaway it would be quieter.

I mean, if you're ever cruising with me I will gladly take them
I’m all for sharing! I treated my table mates to wine each night when I realized they didn’t have a drink package and saw them signing receipts. . Then treated them to drinks in the bar later. Just get some singles for tipping please!

It’s an error in their system and the only way to fix it is to issue the refund and then have you pay it. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Good catch!

I had read from someone on here that at the end of the night they use their unused drink vouchers to get soda or beer to gift to their stateroom attendant. I have done that on many cruises, and last cruise expanded to include the barista in the coffee shop (gave him Truly's-he was very happy). Anyhow while sitting at the casino bar on Anthem my friend and I noticed a guest sign a paper. The guest is definitely Prime in the casino (drinks free) so there was no need to sign for drinks. Being curious we asked what he signed and he said he signed his Diamond vouchers over to the bartendar so they go to his account for use in the crew bar. I've never heard of this. So my friend promtply told the bartendar he wanted to donate his own Diamond vouchers for the day to him and he signed over his drinks. So if anyone is looking for an alternative plan for unused drink vouchers, here is one!

Is the hotel you're staying in; have self/guest laundry facilities?
Thank you for the reminder to look into that. Found my reservation and looked it up! Yes, laundry-coin operated. I'll have to look for my Canadian $ to bring along.

I've submitted my special request for a wheel chairand aide to push it and the Royal Caribbean special eclipse edition glasses and souvenir cup. Package cost $400. I can't get a cruise quote though...

That’s it, I’m looking for laundromats for my Hawaii to Vancouver, 4 day break then B2B Alaska.

Seeing reactions from passengers on current cruises how they can’t afford to book the same cruise the following year I believe we’ll see a surge in land travel and/or $$$ being put into backyard paradises or home improvements.

I can understand forgetting the items. I sail monthly. I make a list on a bright index card that gets placed on my desk “tips, safe, toiletries, key card” (key card I use to keep the lights on). My last cruise I had a panic as I realized I had not removed my items from the safe . I would have seen my list-the last thing I pack-but I actually hadn’t packed the stuff-which is unlike me as I usually empty the safe before going to bed the last night.
I can’t imagine being in a foreign country without my wallet cash and passport. I hope you are able to work something out to get home quickly.

The most miraculous part of this story is that he didn’t use all of the money you put on the account !
He was quite savvy! I had told him he keeps what he doesn’t spend. I knew I gave him a challenge!

Be careful adding cash. I did this for my son on our last family cruise. He didn’t use it all and cash does not go to your card on file. (Who knew?!) He was flagged getting off the ship to go to guest services where he had to wait on a line to find out the issue and was quite relieved it was a cash refund and not anything else. Thankfully we were not rushing to the airport as this was an unexpected blip.

I think it’s great. I’m not thrilled that if they want more family to book it’s 20% off, is that on top of promos or instead of promos.

Just at Nassau today. It’s not removed from itineraries.

I feel like this is not new to Anthem, I sailed on her the end of February and many times the slot would turn green but say “hello guest”. Thankfully I paid attention and kept rescanning. Until I saw my name. What a pain!

Thank you! Just helps to know I can head right to guest services and get it done
I had 4 cabins swapping people.
i wrote a list for the poor guest service agent who would be stuck helping us.
John smith from cabin 123 to cabin 456
Mary smith from cabin 456 to cabin 123
Etc,
It left little room for error.
the agent was very happy to see the list.

We just did this on Anthem. Went to guest services when we boarded and they gave us new seapass cards. We discarded the ones at the cabin

It’s been this way. My understanding is once you’ve found a bartender who makes a drink the way you like it stick with them. I had a waitress swear she made a better chocolate martini than the bartender in the Pub on Anthem. She was wrong, hers tasted like trash. Lesson learned!
I like ordering at the bar because I can see if they are using the vodka I ask for, though I can taste the difference if the waiter goes behind the scenes and makes my drink. My days of bellying up to the bar and hanging out to drink are pretty much gone, but I do know usually a good tip gets you prompt service and a good drink.?

I’m sorry this happened to you. It’s especially sad that others sat in the same seat and also fell backwards. Sounds like that seat needs some attention. I have no other advice except perhaps email the CEO MBAYLEY@rccl.com and make your complaint about that furniture and your request for reimbursement.
Online check in on the app a total mess
