If a TA holds your booking, you will not be able to see the invoice and such through Royal. The cruise planner only shows the orders that are made through the planner and not anything related to the price of the cruise. You need to have the TA send detailed invoices.

I did Grandeur in Jan after coming off Oasis. You children might be hard press to find things they enjoy. There are almost no late night eats beside room service and the other dining venues are small. The shows are really dated, like really old in comparison to the ice and water shows you get on oasis class. Also, the rooms are much smaller than on the larger ship.

I know I am the minority, but I don't think the Beach club is worth anything, let alone over $100. I think the complementary food on PDCC was better than anything at the beach club. Granted I do not eat seafood, but I absolutely hated the steak. But also even with two ships, I found quite places to read and relax.

There are currently no plans that cover phone service on board. There are tons of phone plans that cover international calling and texting. I don't know the length of your cruise but if you want to avoid buying the internet and stay debt-free. Time and plan out your calls.

You can book something on an Oasis class which is generally a 7N sailing and it cost more or less than a 4N sailing on Freedom.
