I completely understand the obsession with the Aqua Theater view. It was my first Sirens Song for the “tippy top” suites. In the end, I do agree with Sabrina that the Deck 17 suites are more glamorous, but you will never convince someone who has the ATS lust so it’s best to just get it out of your system. The truth is, these days, they (ATS) are a bit more affordable anyway, so they are a good Segway drug. Hmmm...that doesn’t sound good, does it ?

3 weeks ago when we boarded the shortened Anthem cruise, there was absolutely no delay whatsoever. They asked a couple of very generic screening questions and off we went. I wouldn't expect any delays unless there is something in your travel history (passport) that indicates you have traveled through any of the restricted areas.

They will not credit you. Final payment date has passed for this cruise. You will not be able to get any kind of refund. What you MIGHT be able to do is upgrade to a higher cabin category for no additional money. That is the only option you have.

Never ever EVER look at the percentage discount. It is nothing but a red herring. Just look at the bottom line - what is the product/event going to cost, in the end ? That's all that matters. The percentage discount is based on the full onboard price and they never disclose what that price is, prior to the cruise. Currently, if your Deluxe Beverage Package is $51 or lower and you are interested in buying the DBP, GET IT. It's more than likely not going any lower than that. Also, you must realize that, in addition to the $51 PP/PD, they are going to tack on another 18% gratuity, so it will be even higher than $51...but that's going to happen no matter what price they are charging. ...and finally, even if the price does go down after you purchase the package, you can always cancel what you have and rebuy at the lower price.

You know what I love about that little puppy towel ? I love how his little legs are just slightly bent in the same direction. Yes. She will get all of the Diamond perks except for the alcohol. She should be getting a welcome amenity so make sure she chooses what she wants. Most likely her only choices will be water or soda but she’s entitled to it - she might as well get it.

The Kummelweck is a roast beef on a wonderful roll. If the beef is good quality and they use au jus (as opposed to thick gravy - yuk), it is very good. If the meat is tough or they use gravy vs au gus, it is an awful thing.

1. Anything is possible with Royal, but if you are talking about March 23 of THIS year, yes....you should have seen cabanas available for purchase in the Cruise Planner by now. At the very least you should be able to see them offered for rent with a big red banner across that section saying that they are "Sold Out". Unfortunately, you cannot depend on anything that a Customer Service Representative tells you on the phone (they are mostly clueless) but I also do not have any ideas for anyone else to call, either. Travel agent, travel agent, travel agent... 2. If you are going to be using a CPAP, it is best to let Royal know ahead of time so that they can provide you with a compliant extension cord and distilled water. Contact them at [email protected] and they will send you a form to fill out. 3. There is no prohibition against a plug-in filter or fan, just be aware that electrical outlets are at a premium so finding a place to plug it in could be your biggest problem. This is an excellent question. I do not know the answer but I feel certain that if you require an accessible room and have already got one booked, they would not book you into a non-accessible room. BUT this IS Royal we're talking about here....so I wouldn't bet my life on it, either. I would have my Travel Agent check this out for me.

Just wanted to make sure you understand that the refreshments package will NOT cover wine. Only the Deluxe Beverage Package includes wine. The refreshments package covers only non-alcoholic beverages.

This is extremely easy to avoid. When you go in for any kind of spa procedure there is paperwork to fill out and forms to sign. At the bottom of the page in HUGE letters, I write “ NO SALES !!”. That will alert them that you are not going to participate in any sales talk. If they start, just get up and walk out. Works like a charm.

Technically, the gratuities for you UDP are already included. However, we always leave $20 for dinner and $15 for lunch unless the service was really bad.

Had you booked a refundable deposit cruise, you would have been able to make this change. The reason for the $100 PP change fee is b/c you booked a non-refundable cruise. That's the way they work.

No. The very fact that Royal allows you to purchase the refreshment package in lieu of the deluxe package is somewhat unusual. Most lines require everyone in the cabin above the age of 21 to purchase the UBP if anyone does. If you want the UDP, you will have to purchase either the UDP or refreshments pkg for your mother. That's just the way it is. Nobody gets around this rule.
