  1. I'm not sure what the distinction is between Uber/Lyft and private transportation but we used, last February and will be using again this February, the services of SAS Transport. It is a ride share service and they will take you from the Port of Miami to FLL. Price is reasonable as well, should be $15 pp.
  2. We have used SAS Transport from Miami cruise port to FLL. We have also used them from FLL hotel to the Miami cruise port. It is a share ride service.
  3. Interesting thing about the itinerary change, for me at least. Our February 23rd sailing was changed, in an email received Thursday morning, but unlike the changes mentioned for other sailings, not only are we getting Labadee and Falmouth but they threw in Nassau for good measure too.
  4. Just got the dreaded email that our February 23, 2025 Symphony sailing will not be going to San Juan and St. Maarten but rather will go to Labadee and Nassau instead.
  5. Went to check my offers after seeing this thread. I'm going to assume that it's the 2025 BIG BOLD OASIS CLASS promotion but my offers are not as good as JasonOasis. My offers were for 3 or 4 night sailings on Utopia or Wonder in interior stateroom. My wife, on the other hand, did receive similar but many more offers than I did even though we have exactly the same Club Royale points! She received Oceanview stateroom offers on both Utopia and Wonder along with interior stateroom offers and many more dates than I have along with one sailing on Symphony in an interior stateroom.
  6. I don`t think that both people in the cabin need to purchase the refreshment package. This applies only to the DBP.
  7. Thanks for posting this. Went to check and I can also reserve for our February 23rd sailing on Symphony.
  8. If this is for 3 single plans then yes it's a very good price. But you would probably be better off getting a 3 device plan which would make the pp/pd price even lower. I was able to get a 4 device plan for our Symphony February sailing at a $10.75 pp/pd price during the BF sale.
  9. I usually just pick the check-in time and do the other stuff later, as others here mentioned. I've also stopped taking a picture because every time we get to the ship for embarkation they would take another one anyway.
  10. Great, thanks for this!
  11. According to the link, it says that it applies to purchases of $350 and more. My question is, if I wanted to give Christmas presents to my family for our February cruise, can i purchase say $100 gift cards for 5 people and still get the 20% or will they count it as 5 separate $100 transactions and therefore not eligible for the 20% discount?
  12. You need to call. This happened to us where we had a casino comp for an interior cabin that we upgraded to a JS GTY. When our first Royal Up offer came it showed that we were in an interior cabin instead of the suite GTY. The offers we were getting were for a larger interior cabin, OCV and balcony cabins. Needless to say we called in and had it corrected. Following our call, the offers we received were for different types of suites. Definitely call!
  13. I'm beginning to think that this may be a credit card company issue more than a RCCL issue. I did my cancellations on Sunday and repurchases the same day and both were processed on Monday by my credit card company.
  14. For our February Symphony cruise we have a DBP promotion of "$59.99 for Diamond and above member sale". Have never seen this type of promotion before. Other packages I have never seen before: "Thrill Big Package for $104.99", "Chill Big Package for $109.99" and "Party Big Package for $100.99". But there is the return of the DBP plus Voom 1 Device option for $95.99.
  15. Wow! Hideaway Beach for us at 50% off is $53.99.
  16. We did mainly credit card purchases but will always bring some cash with us. You never know when you'll need it. I bring the Euros from home that i get from one of the more reasonable currency exchange bureaus. They always have better rates than the banks and, in fact, it was my bank that told me about the one I went to.
  17. Our experience has been that we normally have to tell the waiters, bartenders, etc. when we want to use our vouchers and not the other way around.
  18. We've stopped taking the photos because every time we get to the port they retake them anyway.
  19. Another option you may want to consider is to attend the spa tour on embarkation day. There is always a raffle that afternoon for spa certificates and after the presentation the spa manager usually offers a spa promotion for that day only. The price will vary but typically is for $149 which is basically the 50 minute massage price but will get you a 75 minute massage. We've taken advantage of this a couple of times.
  20. I agree with you on this. We have taken advantage of the manager's special on a few occasions and we were never charged unless we went to the spa desk to give our name and cabin number to reserve our treatment.
  21. Pleasure to be of help! This site has provided lots of useful information to me and it's nice to know that I'm returning the favor.
  22. We tried it on our early August sailing. We viewed it as an experience to try and not as a special dining occasion. The food was good as was the show and virtual tour. Would I do it again? Maybe when they bring other shows and meals, I wouldn’t do this experience again. We paid $74.99 and were okay with that price. We weren’t able to reserve through the cruise planner and booked it as soon as we boarded. That’s my 2 cents.
  23. Beginning of August, we stayed at the Marriott Orlando Airport Lakeside before our Utopia cruise. They have a free shuttle to/from airport and we took Uber to the port the next day. The Uber was approx. $80.
  24. We weren't able to book it online through cruise planner before our cruise. We saw it listed with the price per person but wouldn't let us reserve it. First thing we did after embarkation was to go the Utopia Railway Station and book our reservation and a good thing we did. It sells out quickly as there are only 48 seats between both rail cars per seating (I think) and there are 2 seating's nightly.
  25. I stopped taking our photos since they would always retake the photos at check-in.
