  1. I am sorry to see that this is still the case as it looks like they may not be repairing it. It has been down since the restart. My family will be on in October next year and we loved the escape rooms on Oasis and Mariner of the seas. Once you are on board and have a free moment would you ask when/if they estimate this being repaired? Thank you
  2. I want to also chime in and agree with everyone here and say @barbeyg, your writing style is great!! You are off to a great start and I can tell you I am looking forward to seeing and hearing about the antics you and your husband get up to. I hope you have a great cruise vacation!!
  3. I just watched your second video and I know that your excitement at seeing your room is going to be exactly how my family will be when we get on Oasis in February!! We are so excited!! I am glad you guys were literally jumping for joy
  4. I am so looking forward to your blog. I followed along on your last adventure on the Anthem as my family was set to go on our first Royal Cruise also in Star Class early 2021. As we all know that did not happen. Now we are trying for a redo on Oasis in early February next year so I am excited for your insight into the STAR life on Oasis!! So excited for you and your family!!
  5. When you have the time would you be willing to share your Excel sheets?
  6. @Matt I guess that makes me feel better. As they say misery loves company. Here’s to cruises resuming in the US on time for set sail. Regardless, one of the things I’m thankful for this holiday season is being a part of this community where we can all have fun together!
  7. I am trying to link my cruise to the Royal App, scheduled to depart January 31 ??, but it is telling me that “Something is on the blink. Try again later.” I called Royal and was told that this was due to all cruises being stoped at the moment. Just wanted to check and see if everyone else is experiencing this or just me. I am able to view my cruise on the site no problem but I am unable to link it to the app. Happy Thanksgiving to those who are celebrating today!
  8. Yeah all of my other cruises were with Carnival but we really want to check out the suite amenities with Royal. Even if we don’t get to go on this cruise we are booked again for 2022. I don’t want to wait another year but I will if I have to. We are booked in aqua theater 2 bedroom so no deck 17 but still should be a great time.
  9. @Pookie I have had a similar experience for our cruise booked for January 31. I tried to check in every few days and only a few days ago was I able to actually get it to work. I can not see the boarding passes though. I am hopeful for a cruise as this was to be our first foray into Star Class but we will see. I agree with @Lovetocruise2002, your writing makes me laugh and I loved your last blog!
  10. I am glad you had a great cruise and now have two more on Royal Caribbean. This makes me feel good about my Royal cruise! Almost inside the 1 year countdown. ?
  11. I'm looking forward to your cruise report! I have primarily cruised on Carnival and will also be a first time royal guest. How long has it been since your surgery? I had mine this past July and I am a little apprehensive to take my first cruise post gastric sleeve.
  12. Welcome back. I understand the work trip. Hope you had a great vacation. Can not wait to hear and see all about it!
  13. I do hope he comes back to finish. I was really enjoying his writing
  14. Have a great Cruise!! living vicariously through you as mine is still 428 days away. ?
  15. That answers my question. It was for a Star class room so non refundable deposit. Thank you for the help!
  16. No the sailing is not until February 2022
  17. It is a TA from MEI that I got partnered with by filling out the form.
  18. Team, I need your help with fare types. My TA said that she can book a refundable fare but the deposit would not be refundable? How does this work? What have you guys experienced?
  19. +1 for this. I have done several solo cruises, that I find so relaxing because I am not always trying to accommodate what the group wants to do. On solo cruises I prefer to have a set dining time because you will get to sit with the same people everyday and get to know them and have an opportunity to talk to about how you are enjoying the cruise. I have had dinner mates that I still talk to, and they are friendships that I would never have had without sitting with them at dinner. I would also say to not be afraid to talk to people while you are out and about the ship. You can always start a conversation with the person standing next to you at the bar or lounging next to you by the pool.
  20. So @Royalnewbie96, How was your first cruise? How was the Star Class experience?
