  1. Unfortunately there is no guarantee it will go down again, and it could go up. We on this forum always recommend you buy it at a price you can live, then if the price drops cancel and buy again at the lower price.
  2. I would google and Youtube Italian train journeys, to get an idea of what they are like. In my opinion they are unique and might not be as easy as paid transfers especially when travelling with luggage. At least from my experience, I am comparing to UK, France, and Spain train journeys.
  3. That's what Im afraid of, but then again, I dont sail until September:)
  4. I am hoping to this on my sailing in September!
  5. If you booked in the UK you may be entitled to a full refund. Unfortunately the website does not supersede the document they already sent you. "These COVID-19 Supplementary Terms and Conditions are valid from the date of publication, are subject to change, and will remain in full force and effect until further notice. If there is an inconsistency or conflict between any of the terms of these COVID-19 Supplementary Terms and Conditions and the standard Booking Terms and Conditions applicable to your cruise, the provisions of these COVID–19 Supplementary Terms and Conditions will prevail." Its all in black and white and very clear. I'm really sorry if it's not what you wanted to hear.
  6. Like I said, Expect the worst, hope for the best. So expect that you will need a booster. Spain is still requiring it if it's been more than 270 days since you finished your two doses. Your date(s) of vaccination must be specified and your final dose must have been administered within 270 days prior to travel to Spain. If you completed your vaccination (with both doses of a 2-dose vaccine or one dose of a single-dose vaccine) more than 270 days prior to travel to Spain, you must be able to show proof of having received a booster jab. RC are not gonna go against a destination port's requirements.
  7. I was sent COVID guidelines with my invoice. In a nutshell it says things may change but to expect: 1). You will have to pay for you own test before you cruise. 2). You must be vaccinated. 3). You will have to wear a mask. Expect the worst, hope for the best.
  8. Based on what I have heard in the news, and living in the UK. I believe the real issue was P&O Ferries did not follow the correct labour laws when making the existing staff redundant. Being made redundant in UK myself years ago, I know there are several legally required steps an employer has to follow. P&O have admitted what they did was unlawful. The government is looking to add extra measures in place that will prevent this from happening again. I believe any new regulations regarding minimum wages will only affect ferry contractors (P&O Ferries operate under a government contract or license for these routes), and NOT the cruise ships. Southampton I would expect to fight any kind of new laws affecting the cruise ship industry negatively, as during the pandemic shutdown, Southampton was reporting losses of £30,000 a day in different local labour markets tied to the Cruise Ship industry. This of course is mostly ALL my opinion. I personally would be shocked if the cruise industry in the UK raised prices impacting bookings.
  9. The Surf and Turf sushi roll at Izumi, they no longer have it on the menu, but you may be able to special request it, YMMV. If you cannot get that, the Champagne Lobster Roll is my other favourite.
  10. Diageo, the company which owns Crown Royal (and other brands) is running short of supply. It has to do with us all buying more direct from liquor stores and drinking at home when bars were closed, LoL Don Julio, Crown Royal Maker Is Running Low on Booze That Takes Years to Make https://www.bangkokpost.com/business/2255367/don-julio-crown-royal-maker-is-running-low-on-booze-that-takes-years-to-make
  11. Each package include 1 device for each of you. You will each have one device:)
  12. Im really sorry, but if your cruise was booked anytime in the last 24 months, you should have asked or at least been aware that this could happen. Depending on when you booked, you may be able to cancel and receive a credit for later use. At one point mask wearing was made mandatory for ALL passengers(over 2?) vaccinated and unvaccinated and clearly stated on their website.
  13. Yes you will both have access to one device if you purchase the Deluxe Beverage/Voom one device package for each of you.
  14. Yes, you can give anyone the code to use as you please.
  15. I drink very fast, and have never had an issue with getting one drink after another (lees than 15 minutes). This was on both a US and a UK sailing.
  16. When I have booked My Time Dining in the UK, I have always had to prepay gratuities. Not a big deal for me as I like to have everything paid for prior to my cruise. I believe they will wave this requirement though if asked.
  17. I think @Matt takes most readable formats? I have submitted in PDF in the past.
  18. I would totally attend nautical(or any) themed campaign taking place over several sessions and days! I would put a mighty hurting on the drinks package at the same time.
  19. I was only for certain sailings, and has ended. It was on the website, and they posted a message when you booked if your sailing was eligible.
  20. In the U.K. and Ireland, RCI has been running a promotion for certain 2022 sailings, £40/$53.69 pppd on the deluxe drinks package as an add-on to the cruise fare. It is due to end today I think? I had already paid £49.75/$66.71 pppd on Black Friday so cancelled the cruise planner purchases. A huge savings on a 12 night cruise:)
  21. Royal Caribbean have not issued their sailing/boarding procedure for Europe sailings yet. A little more info can be found here: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/gbr/en/the-healthy-sail-center/getting-ready-to-cruise
  22. Do you check-in a "no show"? Is it possible to just check-in just the 1 person sailing on a booking?
  23. I like to buy everything before my cruise for budget reasons. That way I know there will be little or no bill when we depart the ship:) The lowest I have seen to DBP is $54pppd, which is the current price, we bought it at that price, after cancelling the previous purchase at $68pppd on the Black Friday sale. I believe we paid $58pppd last year. My wife will drink alcohol, but not as much as me, I drink enough for both of us. Without the DBP, I will spend around $112.00 a day on alcoholic beverages (myself). We don't buy the UDP, but instead go for the 3 night Dining Plan - This was $102pppd last year and we ended up buying for $109 pppd this year. These are the prices for my 12 night sailing from the UK in September (vs 6 night UK sailing last year), and in local UK pounds which i have converted to dollars.
