  1. I have not seen this change to 3 days. Maybe it will be announced next week.
  2. I would be more concerned about noise from the pool and activities on deck 15.
  3. Carnival is sticking with the 3 day testing window for the vaccinated; but have now extended that to the unvaccinated. They have dropped the PCR requirement for unvaxxed children, and also dropped check in testing for that group; they can now do Antigen 3 days prior like everyone else.
  4. It isn’t gone for good, the venue isn’t revenue producing at any point really, with the exception of Bingo and Laser Tag. The staff manning the show aren’t revenue producing staff. This question was asked during the entertainment Q&A last week on Harmony. No timeline was given, but the CD Dan stated clearly that the Quest will be back.
  5. Slow your roll, all this means is Cafe Promenade will be using Starbucks beans. If you want a Starbucks Machiatto or Frappuccino, you still need to go to the Starbucks kiosk, and those are not included in your drink package.

  7. I have an annual policy through Trawick International. I have had this policy for 4 years now, and have had one claim. For me it is more economical than a per trip series of individual policies. As is the case with all financial vehicles, the devil is in the details, just be sure you know what you are (or are not getting), I think an annual policy would be good for you.
  8. Tip: when using the plastic sleeves (excellent invention) I cut the paper tag so all I have is the central 25% of the page. Makes it easier to “stuff” into and remove from the sleeve.

  11. We switched to hard side bags from Away Luggage a couple years ago. We love them, 4 wheel 360 degree design, good locks, and best of all LIFETIME warranty. We have used the warranty once for a broken interior zipper, and it could not have gone smoother. Called them and described the issue; 2 days later a new bag was on the porch, put the old bag in the shipping box, and Fed Ex came and picked it up.

  15. Every one approaches this differently. Some pay immediately upon booking Some pay at the last minute (90 days prior to embarkation) Some pay incrementally over time. There is no "right" way, one must do what one is comfortable with. Whatever you do, do not miss final payment and do not rely solely on a travel agent to keep it straight for you; these boards are full of stories that do no end well due to missed final payment date.

  19. Don't put a lot of stock into that email. I hate to be the party pooper, and I hope I am wrong, but in March we had the key on Allure, and once onboard the free room service was not honored.
