Made it to the port. Cost for UberX from Residents Inn Elizabeth/Newark $26, trip time 30 minutes.
What did you think of your hotel? We are going to be on oasis next year.

I just called and the lady and her supervisor both just said the price will stay unless I cancelled. I got her to to repeat it and she said the calls are recorded. So I'm not quite sure how they could go back on that now? lol
That would be so amazing as I grabbed it too for my cruise next year! We were leaning towards not getting it but at that price it's worth it.

T-4 days until our dog sled takes us from our igloo to NYC. (In the words of @Matt).
I have never so desperately needed a cruise until now. The month of June has been beyond busy and emotionally draining. Between organizing a grad trip, saying goodbye and graduating a group of Grade 8 students that I have taught multiple times since they were in Grade 2, changing work locations, and the usual home chaos, all I want to do is sit on the balcony and watch the waves.
Because of the craziness of this month, I have barely had time to plan properly for this cruise. It’s a good thing that we have done Anthem before. In the next few days, the “to-do” list includes:
1. Mani/Pedi with my girls tomorrow.
2. Do laundry.
3. Pack.
4. Do more laundry.
5. Clean my house.
6. Finish packing.
Will start in the morning as I am past tired at this point.
Yay have a great time!! The last month of school is always the worst for all of the final moments. But soon you will be able to relax and de-stress.

What a lovely start so far! And you're already in Florida and yum cheesecake!! I'm looking forward to hearing about your adventures on ship in the next few weeks.

Long story, but I booked the wrong cruise last night with a refundable deposit. I haven't yet switched it over to my travel agent and would prefer to cancel it on my own rather than bother her. Can i cancel it on the website? If so, how?
Thanks.
I did that as well earlier this year too! We didn't realize that this year the kids would have different spring breaks and that time will would not work out. I eventually found a new date and moved it to that.

Hello! I have been reading the archived live blogs that the guys have posted and now I've found the message boards. We have a cruise on the schedule for June 2020 which is way too long for me to wait in my opinion so in the meantime I get to read about all of your fun.
I've previously cruised on carnival, dcl and msc so this will be my first royal cruise. I tend to over plan so it looks like I'm in the right place
