  1. I'm talking out loud here but maybe it's possible for you to reach out to your Roll Call group to see if anyone (a party of 2) wants to share the cost of a Cabana with you so you can get their wristbands? Based on the conversation, you only needed the wristbands for access so that your family can join you at your cabana. Plus you said there would only be 1-3 of you there at a time. Offer them $10-$25 per wristband or whatever you think is fair. They've already paid anyway so it's just money back for them. You'll save them money and you wouldn't need to pay for a wasted cabana.
  2. I think the ones that are using the codes block you but the ones under the created accounts just knock you off. Like I mentioned, it would knock someone off when the 5th device tried to log on but it did give me a warning, before proceeding, that 4 devices were already logged on.
  3. You can't download Royal IQ any longer and from my understanding it's been taken out of service on the only ship left that was using it. I think RCI app only has 18 ships listed so eventually the rest will be added. Each update we try to figure out what's been added but it takes awhile to check each ship.
  4. It's dead! Ships are converting over to the Royal Caribbean App...https://www.royalcaribbean.com/booked/royal-app
  5. I had two cabins on Allure....7588 and 7589. The info is correct for 7588 which was an OV but 7589, which was Promenade View, isn't even listed.
  6. Thanks....and thanks again as that was my next question
  7. That would be the reason.....definitely won't be waiting next time. Any idea when the last increase was?
  8. According to my cruise compass (Allure), it says from 5:30pm onwards
  9. Just to have the peace of mind that it's taken care of.....no advantages at all. In my case I was paying for 6 of us; so to not have an additional $605 at the end of the cruise added some comfort.
  10. I just did the same thing a few weeks ago. I had my TA call 3 days before my Sept 1 (well Dorian made it Sept 4) sailing and paid for the gratuities.
  11. I think some ships still issue a code but on Allure I had to create an account and then each device would just log onto that account. The person that purchases the plan will receive a letter in their stateroom explaining how to setup the account. The user name is their first name and then they create a password. At that point you can have anyone you want log into the account regardless of stateroom up to 4 devices simultaneously. If someone doesn't log off it will bump off one of the devices when the new one attempts to log on. The letter says that you should logoff but it wasn't always necessary. I don't know what determines who gets kicked off but you won't know until you attempt to use it.
  12. In cruise planner, they had offered an All-Printed package for the same price as All-digital package and both packages combined for an extra $80.
  13. To answer your questions: 1. The price on board is usually around $60-$80 more if purchased onboard. 2. The price is per cabin so in cruise planner, you just need select one person in your cabin. It doesn't matter who as there is no "head" person 3. You get all pictures (either digital, printed, or both depending on what you choose) taken of the people in the stateroom and any children of yours under the age of 21; even if they are staying in separate cabins. 4. Totally worth it if you can take as many pictures a possible. Individual pictures run $20 each. I managed to get 97 pictures in our short 4 day voyage. It would have been more but we were already rushed because of Dorian with the crew trying to squeeze in shows and everything else in that short time. We were like non stop from 3:00pm-Midnight pretty much everyday.
  14. Our cruise on Allure was shortened by 3 days. Those that cancelled were offered a 100% FCC and a full refund of any pre-paid purchases (internet/drinking packages, excursions, gratuities, and port taxes/fees). For those of us that decided to still sail, they gave us a 3 day credit as refundable OBC and an additional 3 days credit as FCC; both amounts equal to cruise fare paid per person. We were also given the full 7 days of C&A points.
  15. Last time I assumed the forum was informed about something new and I was wrong, so just in case, the Next Cruise program now has an option were you have 2 months to decide your booking. I put down a deposit for my 2 staterooms ($200 each) and I have 2 months to decide what ship and date I want to sail.
  16. Not sure if it's worth mentioning but the one under the desk, on Allure, listed 230V
  17. Regular texting does not work on Wi-Fi with android phones. Im unsure when it comes to Apple, but believe its possible.
  18. Last time I checked the chat feature was only available on Allure and Harmony for now. Push notifications are now enabled but I don't think they are 100% reliable
  19. I've never eaten breakfast in the MDR; probably because we've always cruised with other couples. I planned on trying it this cruise so thanks for informing there's a buffet in there as well.
  20. What time did you arrive at the terminal?
  21. I figured since the passport provides verified info, they were going by that criteria I was going to upload her picture before we sailed anyway, just so that it was done, even though I know they'll do it at the port.
  22. One of them got it without her photo which is why i figured it was more probable due to her having a passport
  23. I gave up trying to figure it out. I started our check-ins with the app but finished them all via computer. My wife and daughter got expedited arrival but the rest of us didn't . The only similarities are that my wife and daughter both have their passports as the rest of us do not.
  24. @Marmaduke might be referring to Expected Arrival...isn't that the only benefit being offered by checking in using the app?
