That machine is probably my 2nd favorite perk after the vouchers.

Yes you should let your server know any time you want to use them.  You may want to use them all for $14 cocktails and not $7 beer (you have a couple 50% off glass of beer and wine vouchers in addition to D vouchers).  Drinking is a science and does involve math. System works well.  We always take a stack of $1 bills for gratuities.  The servers get no automatic gratuity for a voucher.  You can tip by using the slip they bring you but we have noticed they like cash better.  We've noticed using cash there are more times they give you a freebie.  Check your vouchers from the app to see if a freebie was given.

There have been rumors of "Project Discovery".  Royal likes to call new ship class developments a "project".  However that's all that been known.  
Considering that Vision and Radiance class are all that can use the Panama Canal, it stands to reason that Royal would look to create a new class that could.  Mega ships are great but they are a PITA when deploying ships between the Atlantic and Pacific.  They need something that can.
Without any proof or facts, I've always thought that taking the Edge class platform, the basic hull design, not an Edge class ship and painting a Royal name on it, they could leverage a successful hull design and save that engineering cost, and by using LNG engines, build on that hull design to create a new class for Royal.  
  

Also sailing to Europe on Explorer in April.  I've crossed the Atlantic and Pacific several times on aircraft carriers and don't think the time change is a big issue.  First time doing this on RCL and looking forward to it.

Most recent trip on Wonder in late April:
MDR: Didn't eat there at all but didn't plan to.
Windjammer: Two meals. Depended on what you were eating as to good or not so good. Salad bar plate I constructed was great. Wife had an alleged pork chop one night that should have been sent out for lab analysis for confirmation of what it was. There was a chocolate/chocolate cookie at the kids dessert bar this 69 y/o kid went back for.........twice. Mostly we didn't enjoy the zoo/stampede atmosphere, but that's an Oasis ship thing.
Giovanni's: An excellent lunch.
Hooked: an ok lunch, the messy fish sandwich was, and entirely forgettable. Frozen cod is frozen cod when it's deep fried, land or sea.
Sorrento's: It isn't Pizza 1905 in Lake Mary Fl.
Playmakers: Ate there one night to beat the lines for 'InTense'. Wife's wings were great. My chicken sandwich was not. 
Johnny Rockets: More than adequate burgers, fries & shake, which was in a considerably downsized glass compared to the shake I had on Mariner.
150 Central Park: That wasn't dining, that was an EXPERIENCE! Tenderloin for 2 was incredible. We could have eaten an entire day's production of the Parkerhouse roll served with dinner. All 3 courses were incredible as was the service.
Room Service: Contintental and American breakfast orders were OK, on par with the local Hampton Inn breakfast bar. Orders not filled correctly a couple times but what the hell, it's happened in hotels too. We lived.
The  wine cheese/fruit platter was definitely smaller than our first cruise on Mariner. "Shrinkflation of the Seas", like packaged food and snacks on land; less food, same great price. 🤪
Overall, we grazed well, food was decent except as noted and as far as we could see on the horizon, there were no alternatives.
PS: 3 hours later and I just remembered I forgot:
El Loco Fresh: Loved the concept but the wave of humanity made the grab n' go burrito and tacos the thing to do. Couldn't get close to the fixins'.
Park Cafe: Had 2 of the vaunted Kummelweck sandwiches. Apologies to Royal, but I've made those out of leftover London Broil on a Kaiser roll with horseradish, mustard, and sliced onion. Mine are better, but again, the only game in town. 

This is fake news. I would question everything the moment it was suggested that slots “were not considered casino”. RC puts 400+ machines in a ships casino for a good reason. This is just ridiculous. I was on Wonder last week and had more comped drinks at the casino bar than any other bar on the ship (there are slot machines built into the bar!!!!!). 

By policy the verbiage states nights 1 and 2.  In practice it varies by ship.  
Some ships enforce the night one and two thing, some ships do not.  

Registered sex offenders are not allowed to cruise. The cruise lines run the manifest a few days before sailing and they will call you and let you know you can't cruise.

Stealing a magnet for the grandkids?  What a terrible excuse for a human.  
I stopped bringing magnets because of magnet thieves.  Still bothers me that people think they can just take other people's hard earned things, even something as small a magnet on a door on a cruise ship.  To think she was going to present it to her grandkids so they would look up to her and think what a wonderful person she was for thinking of them while in reality she was nothing but a common thief.  Hopefully she is banned from Royal.  No room for criminals on board.  

Brightline has had many incidents of people not understanding (or understanding all too well) how train track crossings work.

Looks like a pretty cool itinerary;  Very excited to cruise to St. Croix!!  

2PM is kinda early for leaving....that would make a big difference for us.  We are rarely rushing off the ship at the first chance so we tend to get a later start than most.  With the ship leaving so early, not sure going out of the port complex would be on our schedule.  I like the Costa Maya port area so I wouldn't have any objection to just hanging out there a bit and then going back to the ship.

Whoa!!!!  Congrats!!!!  We have a few more years to go on our "Pinnacle Plan"  🤣

This must be a YMMV situation. The amazing CK staff on Wonder in June did let us order some items from the MDR to CK.

In the past I had mixed results with ordering food from the MDR and having it served in the CK.  The one situation where they seem to be somewhat flexible is on lobster night where I have often been successful in getting a lobster tail from the MDR.  Your best chance for success here is to ask ahead of time and let them know when/what you will be asking for and they can let you know whether it’s possible or not. Best not to spring it on them with no warning.

Food will usually be that way. We ate in CK all 7 nights on Wonder in June and it ranged from good to great. Best staff ever as well.
Hope it's better for you on Symphony.

We've had great food in CK, and we've had terrible food in CK (Wonder) and cancelled our upcoming reservations...  I think it's definitely a YMMV deal.  Going on Odyssey in September, looking forward to trying their CK!

I asked you about Lyft before and we've considered it but until my parking experience changes, I wasn't planning to go that route.
What time have you had trouble parking? And was this Terminal 1 or 5?
We always get to Terminal 1 around 10am, maybe a little earlier, and there are spots everywhere (as recently as June for a full Wonder sailing). I have to assume it's how early I get there? It can't be dumb luck.

I'd totally charge for popcorn because it's a fracking mess.  
Also, I check my folio at least every other day, if not every day.

We rebooked (thanks MEI!) to the Explorer of the Seas 5-day, same week without any issues.  

Liberty would counter that for years cruising was not charging enough, that cruising was too affordable, that was was too much value in the cost of a cruise versus a land vacation. 
To that end, he doesn't want cruising to be budget friendly if the definition of budget friendly is cheap.   Yet someone is buying cabins and suites on these ships.  To these people these rates are within their budget.   By that definition they are budget friendly for these people.  
It's always been a supply and demand market.  There is a lot of demand right now and Royal is capitalizing on it.  With strong demand rates are high but people are paying it, that is those that find it within their budget to do so. 
I feel your pain though and my cruising is down as a result.  While it may be within my budget I don't find the value especially with all the cutbacks and now talk of charging for pizza.   It's not about charging for pizza specifically, but more that they are looking to introduce charges for more and more and more while simultaneously increasing base fares more and more and more. 
For new guests who are just finding cruising this is normal to them because they don't know any better.  For me the math of the value proposition has changed so I spend elsewhere.
