Like any of the off MDR venues (ie specialty resurants; JR'S for breakfast, Pinnacle breakfast) one of the reasons they are adamant about recording your cabin number has to do with the portion of dining allocation that then goes to that restaurant. So if they keep you eating in the CK it increases that particular staff allocation from the pool. Ever wonder why the same staff is in the specialty restaurants and CK even after their vacations? Yes theystill have to make sure or wait for an opening there, but it is a sought after assignment (why? The pool allocation is better) Belive me or don't but the same applies to cabin / stateroom attendants that cover the suites! Especially the more upper level ones.

Very very rare for Traditional Dinning not to open on time. In fact yours is the very first I've ever heard of it no opening at the published time Yes in fact all the traditional dining time seam to be moving by 15 to 30 minutes sometimes only once on board do you find out. New Early traditional times can be 5: 5:15; 5:30. Late Traditional 7:00; 7:45; 8:00 time recently have been leaning towards the earlier times

Rental car from airport to Galveston is not an easy option like at other ports. Best option is really rent an return to arrival airport, then Lyft or Uber to port, that is if you have a couple of days in Houston area. If arriving the day before forget about a rental car, find a hotel close to in walking distance of food or what you want to do.

Have been there twice, both times prior to Covid, so maybe dated. We were very happy with this place, do not expect a refined modern facility. That said the service was phenomenal!! The massage offered was a reasonable price, and of course no beach vendors. The areas with your longers are all separated from others by screening plants so semi private. Again service, drinks, food was fantastic. Logistics You will walk outside the terminal to a roundabout the have a stand at the 1 o'clock position with you approaching the roundabout at 6 o'clock. When they have a full van taxi load they tend to send you off, short wait normally. When I ve walked by recently they may now have a van of their own that they use. You tell them when you want to leave and they arrange your return to terminal transportation, you can leave anytime you want. I'm sure they would tell its time to go to make sure you're back on time, but we've never waited that long. Hope that helps, BTW would do it again if looking for a beach experiance

Sometimes after dinner for the next night, sometime the morning of. I varies widely depending on Ship, Host and numerous of people on-board wanting to eat there that week / day.

Say change Conscierge Lounge to Suite Lounge. I can see it as a future step to restrict Diamond members

In my opinion NO, you'd have to either drink a whole lot or be willing to pay a huge surcharge for convenience. JMHO if you're even debating it yourself, you are not in the worth the cost arena.

Let's be honest here. If she's Prime in the casino and booking lots of "free" cruises, she is paying one way or another. The casino is the biggest revenue producer on the ship, they are not in the business of losing money. If gambling is your entertainment budget that's fine, but it is not a free ride.

I do know that at least one of the cabins in that bank of 4 on each side of the Diamond lounge is very poorly designed layout and lacks storage space and is smaller than most inside cabins. I had a friend who stayed in one May 2023 and complained, the Hotel Director told them they had lots of complaints about that particular cabin. That whole bank of 4 are consequently on my DO NOT book list.
