any pics of the actual ships in port?

I really hope this is false. That site posted something about restrictions and rules that cruise lines enforce and it was all a load of "stuff".

Wow, hopefully the cruise lines recover quickly things get back to normal soon.

I have to agree with @Zachariusthis is just a suggestion. I understand the concern people have. The media is really playing this up. We are going to the DR for a week at a resort and we are looking forward to every minute we have there.

Still $79 for Oasis this coming Dec.

Do we have any more information on what the Antigua beach club is going to be like? I have not heard much more about it since the announcement.

The wording on it the description is not 100% clear with the number of passes. Also the price for the sailing I put in the OP has gone up $200.

So not really an excursion question, but excursion related I guess. We are looking at the possibility of buying our own snorkel equipment to take on our cruises. Any suggestions on what to look into? We are not going to use it a lot, so more for just vacation use. Any suggestions to help us decide are appreciated.

I am looking forward to eating at JR just for the atmosphere and the feel of a diner. My dad used to take me to one as a kid and it was always a good time. I am sure the food will be similar to a quick service type of meal, but i am alright with it. When the meal is finished and if I dont think its worth a 2nd time then oh well I tried it. I think vacation is the time to try new/different things. Especially on a cruise where usually if you do not like the food served you can get something else and still have a good meal.

@KWong Thanks for sharing the "On a Roll" photos. I am trying this on Oasis later this year. Now I am even more excited for it!

I was starting to be convinced to give her a go. However, this sentence changed that. My wife is prone to motion sickness. Taking meds for it helps, and being on the bigger ships prevent her from feeling the rocking of the ship. I appreciate the rundown of your experience and hope you had a great time.

The struggle is real

I guess it depends on where, when, ship, etc. But, my wife and I are really partial to balcony rooms. We tried to book an inside room and changed it a few months later. So I think we would end up with the 1 balcony cruise.

Has anyone on here had the Taste of Royal lunch? On our sailing it started around $60 (I think, maybe a little less). i noticed it dropped to $34 so I purchased it. I am excited to try out the different offerings and wanted to get other opinions on it.

yeah sure, but I would be a lot more willing to pay the $99 charge. $179 is not going to fly for me. Also, since its just a luxury to add the UDP its going to be up to the individual and what they want to spend their money on.

Id like to visit NO and sail from there too. I am not sure Id like Majesty though. We have sailed and are sailing on the lager ships. However, the lower price for sailing on her is tempting.

I just booked with Air2Sea last night and the price was cheaper that what i was finding through other sites. Also, they allowed me to book it and pay later. Is that usual? Pricing stays the same, it just needs to be paid by the cruise final payment date. I called and asked what was going on since I was confirmed on the flights, but I did not enter any payment information.

Wow! I booked it at $79/pp. I just looked it seems the price is staying at $79 too.
