For me, first choice would be a Norway & Iceland that explores a number of the fjords in each country and has a good number of port stops to see the culture / try the local cuisine. Second choice would be an itinerary that stops at Croatia, Montenegro, the Greek Isles (Mykonos, Santorini, Athens), then Italy; maybe including Valetta, but I think that's on the wrong side of Italy to fall inside the usual Greek Isles / Amalfi Coast kind of itinerary.
Did everyone one of them ports with P&O and Iceland is just fantastic

I assume you can just "look" at your options without going ahead? I'm hesitant giving booking id and name as we are thinking about it. (Not OP but wondering too)
Yes you can do a few steps before confirmation

@Jason12 Where did you find the form to see options? I just wanted to check but cannot find it on their site.
Thanks!

We like any cabin near the aft lifts on deck 8 or 9, great access for most places

Hopefully they pick up some crew members before returning. I suspect they will need to be retrained before the Caribbean season starts.
I plan to call today and reschedule my Allure TA to Alaska in Aug-Sept 2021. I made a preliminary call yesterday and was told there was not problem with rescheduling since it was booked refundable. Everything will be carried over to the Alaska cruise ... even the OBC. My cruise planner purchases will be refunded. The wait for that refund is the only downside.
I was told I had a option of 8 cruise to lift and shift they have a tool and they are the only ones available all repositioning or TA they would not let me move to any other cruise not on the list, you can go online and see the options for yourself

That is sad! I'm almost ready to do the same. Part of me still wants to do the Allure TA and I think there is a reasonable chance of it happening. However, the thought of wearing a mask for 8 hours on an airplane and everything else that could happen is too much to worry about. I don't like air travel to begin with.
Yep no point in worrying about a vacation there’re meant to be fun, I think they will sail her straight back to the US after dry dock

I've booked a package holiday with RC for the 1st time.
Does anyone know whether it's possible to get your flight booking details so that you can login to the airlines website to set preferences like meals, seat reservations etc?
We would like the comfort that our airline seats are reserved.
Thanks Everyone.
Look for the airline locator number, if you cannot see one just phone them, I’ve always done our seat as soon as we book..

Glad to hear it got sorted out, but the take-away for me here is to always book refundable cruise fare.
NRD seems like a good idea at the time, but the inflexibility it creates in unexpected situations such as this has catapulted it from "you probably shouldn't book NRD" to "you should NOT book NRD".
Imagine have no option of a deposit...NRD only

Seems people are getting this thread confused with the replaced ship for Galveston and the November TA booking Obviously the TA is still the Allure not amped which I’m on and don’t see a problem with the price etc, but it’s out of order for the Galveston cruises, deposit refunds in cash is the least they should do..
-
When they replaced the Indy from us in the UK last year I’m sure they gave full refunds? This does not sound like RC they are usually good at things like this..
I hope they Reconsider otherwise lots of cruisers will be gone for good over something so small, I don’t really see a issue with refunds because most will have only paid a deposit this far out..! -

I hope you are right! I would think every effort will be made for the president's cruise to happen. On the other hand, Spain may be doing great but do they really want a bunch of Americans and Brits showing up??
We are okay all Europeans with no restrictions from July

Just guessing, but if I were a betting man, I’d guess that Allure’s Europe season gets cancelled and that the trans-Atlantic comes back empty. Knowing how crazy governments are right now, telling the CDC that a ship is coming back with 6,000 guests that have been potentially exposed in Spain probably won’t go over well.
I think they will do the presidents cruise week before the TA and hopefully sail with guests back to Miami
btw Spain is doing fantastic now very low numbers all round and some days zero deaths -
Most airports in Spain and Italy are opening now with restrictions but the big date is 16th June lots of restrictions lifted and people can travel for holidays from 16th July, so just one more week all might be clearer..!
Hard to say on the ports opening but I hope so by November
