You're sailing out of Southampton? If so, you are correct that your test can be 2 days prior. Likely the email is aiming at the completely unvaccinated, which is actually the group you will fall into once you are onboard since you are not up to date. Hope that helps.

You can look at purchasing a prepaid sim card ahead of time, from someone like OneSim (onesimcard.com). They do both physical and eSims. Or you can pick up a prepaid sim in the Rome airport outside of baggage claim.

We had a lovely time at Taste or Royal on Serenade recently. It is seafood-heavy, so it’s not my favorite but my traveling companions enjoyed it a lot. And the fried cheesecake was excellent. So if you think the menu sounds good you should give it a try. I will say they were willing to give me a shrimp cocktail instead of the tartare, FYI.
