  1. I see it too for $15 on our upcoming Harmony sailing, but it's still showing the ala carte menu??? I called Royal this evening to ask what we actually get for $15 since all Oasis class ships are ala carte at Sabor. They told me they are in the process of eliminating the the ala carte menu and it will be a cover charge only restaurant fleet wide. The $15 is a current sale price on selected sailings. Only time will tell if this is all true.
  2. Savings are great. Letting a travel agent sit on hold makes it even better. I HIGHLY recommend that you consider transferring to MEI travel. They won me over before and during the Freedom group cruise. Last month I was on Indy and booked a 5 night cruise on Vision. We received $100 onboard credit. I got home and immediately transferred it to Annette at MEI. They gave me an additional $100 onboard credit and today handled my price reduction while I relaxed and walked the dogs. :) Fine print. Transfers must be made within 60 days of original booking and before final payment.
  3. We continue to obtain best deal by booking early. We booked our Nov 2017 9 night Navigator for well over a year ago. I just checked and we paid $3375 and the price today is $4881. Our May 2017 Harmony cruise was booked shortly after it came available and that one is up over $700. Booked our Feb 2018 Vision last month while onboard Indy during the 30/30 and price dropped $35.
  4. You can stop by the Main Dining Room first thing in the morning and they will have daily menus posted just outside the doors. The newer and updated ships have them on a digital touch screens. If you are in a suite or Diamond or above C&A status, you can stop by the Diamond or Suite Lounge and view all of the Specialty restaurant menus at one sitting. All Specialty restaurants post their menus just outside their entrances.
  5. While on phone with Royal making dinner and excursion reservations (cruise planner still not working) I asked and they confirmed JS guest reserve once onboard.
  6. Current sale reduced it to $156. I booked it, but after watching the various videos Mrs Wilson told me to do two things. 1=cancel her reservation and get her a massage 2=increase my life insurance before going. LoL

  9. It's been down for a couple hours. I called and was told there was no ETA to the fix. I checked Twitter and they indicated IT working on it.
  10. As a rule of thumb we take $100 cash for every day of sailing. We usually return with extra cash since we try to use the credit card as much as possible. Gotta love those cashback rewards.

  12. We have 675k loyalty points and just waiting for them to update the rewards. Free cruises have been showing sold out for a long time. We were going to just cash in for the free onboard credit (obc), but were told that it was only valid on new bookings and could not be added to existing reservations. I was also told that if you used the points towards obc that you were not eligible for any current promos or C&A discounts. Our $250 in obc would cost us another $1000 in cruise fare! Anyone had a different experience?
  13. I got excited...briefly. Checked earlier today and only Internet and some Specialty dining discounts for our May Harmony cruise. Checked again after midnight and there were new banners indicating discounts on drink packages and excursions too. Prices are still the same. :(

  16. Hello and welcome to Royal Caribbean Blog! We are on the same sailing with you. Our flight back to DFW leaves at 12:15. Really really hoping that luggage valet is still on option. It was no longer available on our Jan Indy cruise. :( Hope to see you on the ship.

  18. We were on Indy for a 4 night earlier this month and stayed at the same hotel. The first Uber driver cancelled, but the second took us to the pier for $8 total for two people. Look forward to the review.
  19. We are 105 days from sailing. About 2 weeks ago Entertainment opened up and we made our reservations. On the same day I was making entertainment reservations I was somewhere in the planner and it had me take my own photo and upload. I assume that was during the online check-in procedure, but that does not open until the 90 day mark and is now locked out telling me to come back in 15 days. Was online check-in accidentally opened early and then later closed or is the passenger picture option somewhere else that I can't find now?
  20. No problems on my end Rob. Try another computer or device and see if you have the same problem. Royal has had lots of website issues over the past year or so, but lately it's worked flawlessly for me.
  21. It's my understanding that they place your SeaPass card just outside your cabin door. If you board ship early and cabins are not ready until 1 pm, how do you make purchases prior to getting your card?

  24. We want to do this, but not willing to pay $194 each. Hoping for an Excursion sale in the near future.
