  1. I thought the Dog House replaced Rita's, but they appear in different locations.
  2. Just saw our Radience sailing is on the app! Feels a little more real now.
  3. I'll look them up...may have to leave the kids in the parking lot for a bit.
  4. The SeaLife Center is part of our land tour. We're excited to see it!
  5. We have a land tour before our Alaska cruise embarking in Seward. Our booking confirmation says to check in between 2:30-6:30pm. Is there restaurant or something else we shouldn't miss within walking distance of the terminal before we board? Trying to figure out if we should select a later check-in time, and it really feels weird compared to my "gotta be first on board" mentality for the Caribbean.
  6. Once we unpack, we slide our suitcases under the beds (they're the same in a balcony or interior). We each (4 of us) take a big suitcase and a back pack. We could probably fit a second, carry on size suitcase under the bed if we brought them as well.
  7. The 1.75L bottle is only $25 locally (north Dallas, TX area). I'm not sure what it in onboard or at a duty free store, but a couple dollars in savings isn't worth the angst of a broken bottle in my suitcase when it's pretty cheap at home.
  8. Have you tried to check in on the website instead of the app? Just curious if it's available there - we're 80 days from our Radiance sailing.
  9. People who rush the elevator as soon. As the doors open without any regard for those who were waiting before them or those with walkers/scooters/wheelchairs who really need it.
  10. You can select different decks for the MDR. In my experience with the app, breakfast and lunch will only show on one of the decks - the lowest deck on my sailings. For instance, if I select American Icon Grill, I can see all the menus each day. I can't select the My Time Dining Room at all, and The Grand only pulls up the dinner menus.
  11. I read "if the passengers is the only one in the cabin". Does that mean you have to be traveling solo to quarantine in your own cabin?
  12. On our Liberty cruise in February, the entertainment and activities did not start loading into the app until two days before we sailed. They were still adding things the day before the cruise.
  13. Sailaway on Liberty is usually 4:30pm. We had early dining in February, and I could only have the house red/white etc. until about half way through dinner - about 6 or 6:30ish. They brought me the wine menu at that point, even though I knew what I wanted.
  14. Our day 1 drinkfrom Galveston is usually a Mai Tai. If it's really cold, we'll head inside and stick with Bloody Mary's. Not sure why since they're iced, but that's a cooler weather drink for us.
  15. We used one of the folding step stools pictured above in our van when DS was little. It's only about 12 inches wide, 15 inches tall and an inch wide when folded (about 10" tall when in use) so could probably be packed pretty easily. Weighs just a pound or 2.
  16. No, your points would not combine. You get the points for the nights you cruise, and your spouse gets the points for the nights they cruise. However, if one of you cruises more frequently and is a higher status (like if your wife takes a few girls trips without you), then you both would receive the higher benefits level when cruising together.
  17. In the 2 bedroom grand suite on Liberty, we had the Malin and Goetz products in the master bathroom. The second bathroom had BioEnergy products, not L'Octaine.
  18. I do miss the coconut cookies while waiting for the ship to start boarding in the suite area though. I may have been seen walking onboard with two or three in my hand once or twice.
  19. Right now Royal is testing those staying on for a B2B on the last or second to last day (not 100% sure which day it is). Hopefully, that won't be in play for us since it's 18 months away.
  20. No, we're planning to get off for the required CBP turn around, and then it's right back on to enjoy the quiet ship.
  21. We're doing the same in June. We're flying in a day ahead and plan booking the same hotel so hopefully we can keep the same room. I asked the same question a few weeks ago, and I think it was @SpeedNoodles that told me we can just meet the Royal Caribbean agent in the lobby of the hotel the afternoon the land tour starts.
  22. Could the genie swing it? Or just order room service from the MDR. Have some delivered to the suite as an appetizer then go to dinner at CK or vice versa?
  23. @jay1021 if it was just my husband and myself, we could make an adventure out of the drive (we're in Dallas). Our kids have about a 6 hour limit in the car or they run the chance of being left on the side of the road.
  24. You can also see this on the app. If your sailing is not close, select one on your ship that is. Open the Windjammer in the Dining section and click on menu. My 2023 Allure sailing doesn't have the menu posted yet, but the current sailing does. It's Caribbean in the WJ tonight.
  25. Here's a quick video a family took while going through the terminal. There are a few benches outside the building. I don't recall, and didn't see in the video, any seating once you are in the building until you are through the security and check in area. It's a lot like an airport terminal where the goal is to get people processed through check in and security with all the chairs at the gates.
