  1. I wonder when they close the kitchen and what they serve overnight? Like, could I get chicken tenders or a grilled cheese from the lunch/dinner room service menu at 2am, or would they say, "sorry, all we can bring you is toast"?
  2. While room service is available 24 hours, not all the food may be available 24 hours. We called and tried to get American breakfast foods at 5 or 5:30am and were told that they could only bring us items from the Continental menu - the chefs were not on duty yet and we could not get bacon and eggs until 6:00am. That was Alaska this past summer (sailing at 60% capacity) so take that with a grain of salt.
  3. We used our two diamond $10 off a bag of laundry offers for our Alaska cruise tour last summer. We sent out just about everything we had packed as we had planned to wash on land before we boarded the ship, but all of those opportunities didn't work out. Jeans, tee shirts, underwear, socks, hiking pants, a couple of nicer tops too - no issues. Everything came back next day and nothing had shrunk. I don't think I would send out my bathing suit, but we will definitely use the laundry service again. Especially since it's free on our next cruise!
  4. They had the candid photographer at the port stops on our Liberty sailing in Feb. 2022. On our sailing, they were all black and white, and some turned out really good. I love this one of the kids.
  5. You will need to call to order the drink package and ask for an exception, but they will most likely make you purchase a refreshment package for her. With her only drinking water, you may be better off financially just buying your drinks individually instead of paying for a deluxe and refreshment package.
  6. They don't list every brand available. Unless there's some weird supply issue, you will be able to have it on your sailing.
  7. We ate at Chankanaab last February. It was OK, not a big selection. It filled everyone up enough to get back to the ship without being hangry, but I think we stopped at Sorrento's when we got back onboard.
  8. How do you link the cabins for photos?
  9. The Freedom class 2BR suites are in the same location, and share the same superstructure. I'm assuming they would be the same, but we have not sailed on the Voyager class so take this with a grain of salt. On Liberty, we have sailed in the 2BR on both decks 8 and 9. The deck 9 balcony was deeper, but they were the same width. I mention it in my February Liberty review.
  10. I'm so excited! We just signed up for April!
  11. All I know is I want some of y'alls luck!
  12. Usually the last page of the survey is open to text entry. I include the details of standout crew in that section and also use it as a "suggestion box".
  13. We CAN drive to port the day of (Dallas to Galveston, about 5 hours), but don't want to chance it.
  14. $30 a bottle sounds a little low - look at the MDR dinner menu on the app. The wine prices are listed on there both bottle and glass if that particular kind is available by the glass. You can use your refreshment package on your port days. You will still have breakfast (specialty coffee, fresh squeezed oj, smoothies at Vitality Cafe) and dinner (sodas) on the ship at a minimum. Plus any drinks you get at after dinner activities. You can also use your drink package while at Coco Cay.
  15. In addition to the aforementioned Lava Flow with Kraken...Habanero Grapefruit Daiquiri in the Schooner Bar, Dark and Stormy, and whatever drink is in my hand at sail away.
  16. Is 90 days the norm? We're 71 days out and haven't received anything.
  17. My kids just realized that they can have meals delivered to the room from specialty restaurants when we sail in star class in April. I've only been telling them all the benefits for the last two years. My son asked if Johnny Rockets is included in the in room dining because DH and I are planning on Chef's Table one night, and it would be perfect to have JR delivered for them just before we leave. I don't recall ever reading about a JR delivery, but I assume they would. Has anyone had JR delivered to the room?
  18. It's there but it's a meeting area now. Looks like it can be easily converted to a ceremony space. Matt did a Freedom tour recently on YouTube - about 26 minutes into the video, you can see it.
  19. I do recall my daughter's card having a "T" punched in it now that you say that. I wonder what they do for the ships that use the rfid chips in the cards? Stickers? She didn't mention a list - I'm sure there was one. I didn't have to go in and register her / fill out any forms like I did for my Voyager aged son though.
  20. My daughter fell asleep on one of the couches in AO one night. She was 11, and it had been a long port day. The AO party just continued around her. We woke her up when we picked her up at 10, and she went right back to sleep when we got to our cabin.
  21. Go on day one to register them. The Cruise Compass will list the time as Adventure Ocean Open House or something similar. I want to say it has been a block of time like 1-3pm. Then the kids can go the first night to start having fun. If you don't make it day one, you can register them any time AO is open. Teen club didn't require registration.
  22. Grand suites and up do have a nightly happy hour in the sweet lounge usually from 5 to 8 PM. Junior suites do not count as full suites, and are not included in this.
  23. I love these videos. I bet they spend quite a bit more on food now as this video is a few years old. I've raised prices twice in the last year alone due to food cost increases.
