GlowTheWeird got a reaction from PRMLVM in Learn to Play Casino games
Just got off Navigator a few weeks ago, they had the ‘Learn to Play’ on the cruise planner. I only do the slots, but I know they had the ‘learn to play’ cuz I had wanted to try and learn the table games like a big girl. (I’m 42 haha)

From a risk mitigation standpoint, I think the issue is they don’t want unvaccinated passengers even getting on the ship.

Catalina is an island. Maybe RC can buy it ?
Coco Catalina.
Think some locals might have something to say about that though...

America's Cruise Line is bringing adventure back to the west coast for the first time in over a decade. See just how many new discoveries your clients can fit into an adventure onboard the Amplified Navigator of the Seas®, sailing from Los Angeles starting in November 2021— NOW open to book. They can soak up Old World charm on Catalina Island, venture into Baja wine country and unwind on Cabo’s world-famous beaches. All onboard a ship that beckons with adrenaline-amping waterslides, a sprawling resort-style pool deck and cocktail bars that channel major island vibes. They can do it all in just a few days, or wander further on a 7-night getaway to historic Mazatlán and pretty Puerto Vallarta. Whether they choose to level up their weekend or spend a full week exploring the Mexican Riviera, they’re in for a California bold rush.
Cabo San Lucas is a lively coastal town that brims with all kinds of wonders for your adventure-seeking clients — like hidden coves and dramatic rock formations along Land’s End, world-famous golf courses with dazzling views of the Pacific, and beautiful white-sand beaches, all available on a 5- or 7-night cruise. Your clients can enjoy a stop at Ensenada, Mexico on most 3-, 4-, and 5-night sailings from Los Angeles to this vibrant city — one of the brightest jewels of the Baja coast. Catalina Island has long been a favorite spot to escape the bustle of LA and we will sail there for the first time ever on 3- and 4-night weekend escapes from Los Angeles. With its scenic hiking trails, pretty sailboat-studded bays, and quaint, Mediterranean charm, it’s the perfect destination for your clients to soak up the sunshine and slip into a vacation state of mind. Puerto Vallarta is a beach lover’s paradise. The sandy shores here are golden, the waters calm and crystal clear, and there are plenty of outdoor activities to keep your clients exploring all day long. They can sail to this picture-perfect port on 7-night adventures from LA. Weeklong sailings from LA onboard Navigator of the Seas also unlock the wonders of Mazatlán, one of the most iconic destinations along the Mexican Riviera. They can unwind on one of the city’s many world-renowned beaches. Or venture out to Mazatlán’s “Pueblos Magicos” — historic villages that offer a taste of Sinaloan tradition, cuisine and culture. http://creative.rccl.com/e-lite/RCI/2020/Executive_Requests/rf_723/NVimage

GlowTheWeird reacted to Cruising With JT in How many LA cruises will you book?
Hey Matt! Planning on book 1 cruise for sure! Depending on dates and pricing, 4 and 5 night is the target, but if 7-nighter over Thanksgiving isn't too crazy we may look into that one as well. When is @mpoole3 doing his live onboard?? Hopefully it's on one of the cruises we book! Would be awesome to meet him in person ? I was able to meet Nick Vitani a few years back on Explorer 3-night out of Seattle and it was awesome. We hung out at the Schooner bar and he had his cats shirt on.

Thanks PPPJJ-GCVAB. Between you, Twangster, JohnT83, SmokeyBandit, and DDaley I don't feel so lonely (or silly) constantly checking, including getting up and checking several times in the middle of each night since midnight Monday.
Every once in a while I take a few moments to check on my RCL stock, but mostly watch RCL cruise videos.
It is getting pretty bad when I can say the next line on a Symphony Full Ship Tour before the host says it.
Can't wait to get back on any '__ of the Seas.'
How bad is it? After several cancels I have a B2B2B on Symphony, Aug~Sep. Only RCL I have been on was a 5-Night Empress including Havana. I am expecting Symphony to be quite a culture shock, but hear terrific things.
My last cruise was just under the wire out of Long Beach returning March 8, 2020. But it was Carnival.
Thus, why I am excited to be at the 'Refresh Party' for NOS.
For our party, I brought chips. The wife swears says she brought the dip. But I don't see any. ?

The news today explains the delay in not releasing the itineraries the week of 3/29... now let's hope they actually release them net week 4/12 as they say so ?

Maybe they figure it's better to cut their losses from reduced capacity fall Miami sailings and get her over to LA ready for a restart to coincide with something a lot closer to normal in November from LA?
By sailing empty they can minimize the transit time and start from LA red hot and raring to go plus capitalize on the CA holiday market.

Just sharing the pic from Royal Caribbean as well. Wow they are sailing starting November 2021 and not June 2022? Crazy!! Good news ? Let's see if they will actually sail though... hopeful.

Interesting they picked November. Am I the only one reading into that decision as it relates to CDC?

Per someone on the Royal Caribbean Blog Insider's FB page: "I talked with Casino Royale today as the new Navigator sailings are still not loaded despite the date on the press release. The rep stated that they were sent a bulletin that says they are still working out the itineraries and that they will be delayed being put open for sale."
