Looks like we purchased the same fan, lol! Mine's currently listed a bit cheaper though (even though they look and are described identically).

I bought this for our cruising. I wanted one that could be charged via USB because plugs aren't always in the most convenient places on all ships. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08866RDYK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Both. There are more on the upper deck than on the pool deck, but they are located on both decks.

Be sure to get the cheaper, non-proctored tests for "unofficial" testing. The procedure is the same, but the cost is far less.

Travel Agent pros and cons?
SpeedNoodles replied to CruisingfromClayton's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I have to take issue with "any TA". Some are just not good. My first one charged a service fee for anything she did related to my booking (and I didn't know better at the time). "TA"s with AAA or Costco may not have the flexibility to do things like RoyalUp. Some are simply not responsive. Some have never been on a cruise (reference my prior TA) and don't even know that fares can be repriced. Go with a good TA. -
Awwwwwww Welcome to the forums @Leighq! I think many people have at least some anxiety over this. I didn't allow myself to get super excited to sail until I'd received my negative covid test. Like everything else, Covid sucks a bit of joy out of nearly everything, at least temporarily. I concentrated on reducing exposure to other people 14 days prior to my sailing. I was reasonably confident that I'd test negative. All I can say is know that you aren't alone!

Travel Agent pros and cons?

I mean, I get it. Most people are not watching all of his videos - they're watching specific ones to find out about a particular stateroom. But I tend to watch all of them, and I tease about it in a good-natured way. If I ever see him, I'm buying him an ice cream. -
Odyssey of the Seas, 2/12/22-2/20/22... Please! No Covid Whammies!

Agreed. Honestly, it's our least favorite class of ship of Royal's. That being said, we have a goal to sail on EVERY ship in the fleet, and Odyssey is the one Quantum class that we'd actually repeat sail on. -

I like Danny's videos (although when you're someone who watches them frequently you can get tired of hearing "I'm a big guy, I'm 6'6" and "I love ice cream", and watching him try to putt at mini golf and shoot hoops), but I choose to support MEI Travel (I also have Michelle as my agent, but there are many fine agents there). I'm one who kind of feels like Royal Caribbean Blog is kind of an odd sort of "family" and MEI is an extension of that. She's never steered me wrong! -

On our sailing (Jan 29- Feb 6) we only had 1966 people on board, and the pools/pool decks were packed on sea days as well. We aren't pool people anyway, so it didn't bother us, but we never would have gotten a lounger if we'd wanted one since we really don't get going until midmorning. -

What a lovely itinerary! -
You can wear it anywhere as long as it's visible. Belt loop, lanyard, shoelace...

Finding bags while in the departure area.
SpeedNoodles replied to MuttMutt's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
One of my suitcases is an unusual color (sort of a light, rose color) and I have a bright, big, purple luggage tag on it, so it's easy for me to spot. Our other one, though, is black. I have a lime-green lock on it, and another bright purple luggage tag on it, but I also put one of these on it. I run it through the side handles to keep it from slipping. It's easy to see on the airport carousel and at the pier. (Yes, they do come in other colors. Yes, I am obsessed with purple). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MR6SYWJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 -
I wouldn't worry about this much anymore as they seem to be sending out fresh tests. We've had people tracking this anecdotally for about 2 months now, and it's been looking good.

Yes, exactly this.
-
Exactly. And make the reservations for the other 2 that you want. Enjoy/

Don't worry about it. You'll get everything straightened out your first day on board. It will likely show up on the app for you under "My Calendar".

Billy (CruiseHabit.com) will be filming the Wonder coming into Port Everglades live (he's actually live now).

Pre booking excursions and internet

If you want a particular price, it must be purchased at that price, not just put in the cart. Take it out of your cart and just keep an eye on prices. When it comes down to where you are comfortable, purchase it that day.
