  1. Yes, this happens to me after every cruise. For me, it lasts generally 2-3 weeks (I understand that this is longer than typical). Even from my 4-day cruise, which ended on Dec 6, and was only 4 nights long, I'm still experiencing it. I don't ever really feel the movement on the ship - it's only on land. I haven't found that using any sort of remedy post cruise does a thing for it. I just accept it as part of my cruising experience.
  2. No. Nor is the Cruise Compass. I was on a 4 night Nassau/Coco Cay cruise 2 weeks ago - the Cruise Compass (and app) said it would be 82-83 degrees every day. The actual temps were the low 70s (confirmed by every actual weather service app that I had available). Most shore excursions (through Royal or anyone else) don't get canceled due to rain (unless it means the activity literally cannot go on - such as the Helium Balloon, perhaps).
  3. If you need a mini-fridge to store medication, just fill this form out ahead of time and they will make sure you have one. There's a spot to check for mini-refrigerator. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/resources/guest-special-needs
  4. There are lockers available at no charge at a couple of places on the island if you are concerned.
  5. We were just there last week. The pool was WAY too cold to get into, imo. Maybe on a sunny day with no wind, but that was not the case. It was not heavily occupied, with both Navigator and Mariner in port.
  6. I know people aren't thrilled with Playmakers overlooking the SeaPlex, but I love that it has ocean views. The more ocean views in venues, the better, imo.
  7. That's fine. It's not as though I'd even know how to use them if they were, lol.
  8. Unless you want lessons, you can't book time ahead on the FlowRider. You just show up.
  9. Just go down to NextCruise, book it, and it'll automatically be assigned to her. She'll be off drinking with me (I suppose I should warn her of this, lol)
  10. FlowRider is complimentary unless you want the hour (or several hours) of instruction. There are many open hours that are complimentary.
  11. Mt Rainier is only 70 miles away, and is an active volcano. How are they REALLY going define an active volcano with regards to excursions?
  12. Exactly. As of now. But the rest is just impossible for me to decipher. As far as I can tell, Delta isn't included, so it's pretty much useless to me personally.
  13. Not a rumor, I read it on their website while checking it out. I've been looking into this one, but I find it very confusing on how to redeem any benefits, and it doesn't appear that you can use them for Delta miles, so I think the benefits just wouldn't be there for me. But again, the whole thing makes my head spin.
  14. Check out this podcast that @Matt released only a couple of weeks ago regarding RCL weddings! https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/podcast/episode-328-getting-married-royal-caribbean
  15. I'm following, and so excited for you!!
  16. I also use the RCL card for Royal Caribbean purchases (including my cruise fare, so it adds up) and redeem for OBC - I use my Costco Visa for everything else (which will usually pay back enough for a few flights a year).
  17. Yes, it should - I've never had an issue seeing a current price on something I've already purchased (whether it be higher or lower).
  18. They could do the twin beds and you and your wife could sleep on the sofa bed together? (Ha, I bet that'd go over well).
  19. You mean in addition to the twin beds (which can be pushed together to be one) and the full sized pull-out sofa? That would be pushing it, I think.
  20. You won't have an aft-facing view (which is what people are referring to in this post) - here's a photo facing forward from room 8326, and then a video from a deck above and a few cabins forward, if that helps at all! 5223.mp4
  21. Ooooh, good one. I forgot to bring them last week on Navigator, and I was PISSED! I even like them out at sea - never know when you'll spot a whale, dolphin, interesting sea bird, or Kraken #nottherum.
  22. I know they did on Mariner and Navigator in the Bamboo room - I ordered Dark and Stormys. I imagine they may have them at select bars on other ships as well.
