We don't consider celebrating Thanksgiving with anyone as obligatory. If we don't want to go to the relatives homes, we don't (which we've opted for each year over the last 4 or 5 years). We never host because our home is not child friendly. Usually we just try to arrange our schedules so that we just work that day.

Looking again, I cannot see the current price of the DBP that I purchased for my Harmony GC, but I can see the current price for the UDP and the Coco Beach Club. Weirdness.

Someone was explaining this on the Insider's Zoom chat the other night. If they park them and turn everything off it takes several weeks to get them back up and running once they want to. It's not like starting a car.

They don't want to know what they paid, they want to know the current price (to check if the price has dropped).

We've gone through this before where occasionally people experience this, but the majority don't. I'm seeing all of the current prices on items that I've already purchased.

This is only for the Coco Beach Club. South Beach area and its cabanas have the Snack Shack and it's not a terrible walk to Chill Grill.

Don's a nice guy, but I find that his information is often fraught with errors.

The last 3 cruises that I was on did not allow self service at the ice cream stands - they were all staffed.

I'm in the process of Lift and Shifting my Jan 2021 Empress sailing to 2022 Odyssey. I haven't received confirmation from Royal Caribbean, but the sailing is showing up on my Cruise Planner, so I'm assuming that's a good sign. The difference between the Owner's Site on Empress and the Owner's Suite on Odyssey is $9200. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

If I remember correctly, the dock simply isn't long enough to support a Vision Class ship. Apparently it's sketchy even with Majesty.

If we could live without dogs we'd seriously entertain this sort of retirement. I'm just not sure I can live without.

I got the same kind of call from NCL this week. I haven't been on the NCL site for over 2 years.

My closest ports are Baltimore, New Orleans and Galveston - all of which take 19 hours to get to (and none of which I'm usually interested in sailing out of, lol)

Disembarkation times are much more set in stone due to them needing to get people's luggage off of the ship and into the terminal before people were released from the ship - so they stick to the times. If you choose self-disembarkation or self assist), where you don't put your luggage out the night before and instead carry it all of yourself, you can disembark on your own schedule, more or less.
