I'm in almost the same boat as you (pun intended). Turning 40 in July, wife and I talking our first cruise on 7-18 on Oasis from NJ. Hope you have a great trip, can't wait to hear about it.

Great info, thank you. As for the USB extension cord, I was more thinking to power a USB powered fan overnight that will be sitting next to the bed. I would plug the extension into our USB hub so power shouldn't be an issue.
I'll keep your tip in mind when arriving at the port. I don't want to get torn a new one!

This sounds exactly like staying Deluxe at WDW. Once you do, it is so hard going to a Mod or Value resort!
