As a MD native, crab cakes just aren't the same outside the Delmarva area......
Thank you for all the details about the Key.
True statement! I was born in Baltimore and spent many summers on the shore crabbing with my Poppop! My Mommom made the best crab cakes! Can’t replicate them. I’ve given up ordering them anywhere else...not worth it.

We’ve got a cruise coming up in July on the Allure. My adult daughter insists we go to Quest. She did it on her last cruise and said it’s crazy, outrageous and lots of fun! Although I don’t plan on actively participating, I do plan on watching and laughing!

How sweet! Happy Mother’s Day to you, as well! My upcoming cruise is a combination Anniversary, Christmas, Mother’s Day and Birthday (tomorrow) gift! LOL! Can’t wait until July!

Another great sign! I’ll have to take and post pics of the signs my sis-in-law did!

I have decorated my families doors in the past, too. Graduations, Anniversaries and other special events (see below) have been recognized. I create my signs in MS Word, print on 11x17 paper and laminate. Then I use magnetic strips to adhere to the cabin door. I think it's fun and festive!
That said I am not aware of a Royal Caribbean equivalent to Fish Extenders.
Below is an example of one of my "homemade" signs. This one was for my son and his wife. They now have it on their refrigerator at home. I guess they liked it, too!
Another cute sign! Lots of talent on this blog!

I ordered this personalized door magnet for $9.00 on Etsy. It comes with us on every cruise. Although our last cruise it did not do its job. We were awoken one night around 3am to a guy mistaking our room for his. I thought our last name on the door would have been the first clue he had the wrong room. I'm pretty sure the drink package was involved in that episode! Anyways, I love our little magnet. It hangs on the side of our frig until it can cruise again!
Love your magnet! So very cute! And your story made me chuckle! Thanks for sharing!

My sis-in-law made signs for our two cabins; laminated with magnetic backing! That way, we don’t get lost when going to each other’s cabins!

Enjoyed your pre-cruise overview...will be following along! Looking forward to it!

We depart Ft. Lauderdale July 7, 2019 for Phillipsburg, St. Maarten; San Juan, Puerto Rico and Labadee, Haiti. Haven’t received anything regarding our sailing/itinerary. Anyone else doing the same cruise (same or different sailing) hear anything? Thanks!

We’re sailing on her July 7th...keeping our fingers crossed!

Congratulations - we're taking our 25th wedding anniversary cruise in June on Ovation! The app can be useful, but it's not always accurate (the deck plans themselves would be, but information on activities may not be). I usually double checked things with either the Cruise Compass or on the video boards that are on every floor near the elevators.
Happy (early) Anniversary to you, as well! Cruising is such a great way to celebrate! My hubby and I did a 10-year Anniversary Cruise way back when (we’re celebrating 34 years in November)!

It is a ridiculous amount if storage. I overpacked and we still fit everything! And have empty shelves Jane
Wow! That is a lot of storage!

Enjoying your blog so far! Thanks so much for posting pics of your interior cabin! It’s bigger than I imagined and looks like plenty of storage for just the two of us! Have a wonderful week!

I will take pics of the room! Jane
Thanks! That would be fabulous! We’re in a Category 6v on Deck 8. (First time in an interior in a very, very long time.)

Enjoy your cruise. Our first time on the Allure is in July and I can’t wait! We also booked an interior cabin to save some money. Look forward to seeing what your observations are regarding the ship!

I enjoy reading about your adventures on the Allure! Your little munchkins are adorable!

I think this is something I'm looking forward to on allure (first Oasis class cruise). I keep hearing that the windjammer is smaller for the ship because of all these other options. Can't wait to eat in the solarium bistro and I'm looking forward to a bigger park Cafe (which I loved on vision). Also wipe out Cafe, and the dog shop, and the donuts, and 150 Central Park.... And...and...
Jane
We’ll be on Allure in July and I’ll be hitting all the same places! Sooooo very excited!

@JLMoran , I don't drink so I don't get the ultimate, but here as of late I have been getting the refreshment package if for no other reason to be able to get as much bottle water as I need, If I pass a bar, I get 2 bottles, they are the small bottles so I go though 6-10 a day. Just a thought, that way you still get you coffee and OJ.
I wouldn't do it at the $26 PD that is offered but at the $17 I got it for on Black Friday seemed reasonable.
That’s what we did! We were going to pay as we go for specialty coffees and bottled water, etc. then saw the Black Friday Sale. $17 for the Refreshment Package seemed like a no-brainer. We’ll use that much in bottled water alone! And if we must have an alcoholic drink, we’ll order the non-alcoholic version and just pay out-of-pocket for the shot to go in it! Happy Sailing everyone!

OMG! G&M is our favorite when we’re in the Baltimore area! They have the best crab cakes! They’re on par with my grandmother’s. I’m starting to salivate.
