  1. This is why I don't live blog a true group cruise..what happens on a GC stays on a GC and "a good time was had by all."
  2. @Matt couldn't even manage to get on a horse after that bar crawl.
  3. No casitas on Harmony but the Suite Sun Deck does have some cabanas that are first come, first serve. They actually do provide more shade than the casitas!
  4. If you're referring to the IDNow NAAT test through Walgreens, that is accepted by Royal and I've always had my results come back the same day.
  5. ^^^^ While some of the medley shows are fantastic (thinking Flight on Symphony), I much prefer shows with a cohesive plot and original music. I'd love to see Royal give some aspiring musical playwrights a chance on their ships.
  6. There are a lot of options out there. You can buy a trip insurance policy that covers you from the second you step out your front door until you return. Often what you are purchasing through the cruise line only covers the cruise portion.
  7. Fixed it for you
  8. The only "deal" is reduced deposits and some OBC as a booking incentive. You still get the same fare rate as if you had booked yourself at the current prevailing rates.
  9. The only time I get the DX is when I'm on a group cruise with @Matt
  10. Mariner does not use the tap cards, so you can still punch a hole in them if you prefer that over using a pouch.
  11. Yeah..it appears SOMEONE(s) booked our favorite room before this was announced as an official GC
  12. Getting on at a port after the ship has sailed already..or leaving the ship prior to the debarkation port.
  13. Symphony uses the tap to pay cards, so no hole punching. Definitely get the plastic pouch. To make it even easier, get one with the buckle style extension that clips off, then you can just unclip it and hand it over when needed onboard. Similar to this style: https://www.amazon.com/Colorful-Horizontal-Waterproof-Resealable-Lanyards/dp/B076FW235L
  14. Correct. They don't have any sort of side coverage like curtains or anything that would block the shade when the sun isn't directly overhead.
  15. I'm also on that sailing! But no, he will not be able to drink on the ship. They recognize the legal drinking age from the place where the ship embarks, which is in Florida. He also won't be able to drink at CocoCay despite it being in the Bahamas. It's considered an extension of the ship. He can drink at the ports of St. Thomas and St. Maarten.
  16. The SeaPass cards never come pre-punched. Some ships use the newer technology where you tap the cards to use them and thus they can't be punched so getting a pouch will cover you for either type.
  17. @Beci can probably help you out with a number Or you can go to RoyalCaribbeanBlog.com and fill out the yellow form on the right hand side under GET A FREE QUOTE. MEI is a sponsor of the site and this way they'll know you're coming from here!
  18. They are no longer offering the testing for folks who have to have a test to return to another country from the US based cruises. They still do the testing for the B2B and S2S cruisers.
  19. Bring your own. They do sell them onboard if you forget to pick one up before the cruise.
  20. I don't know...I feel that way about the insurance industry
  21. Depends..are you saying it with a beret on or not? I mean "mer" is French for sea, so either pronunciation is appropriate.
  22. It's on the Oasis Class ships where you can get beer, wine, soda and water from 11a-11pm in the Suite Lounge. Then they also have the Happy Hour from 5-8pm where you can order from their Happy Hour menu list of alcohol.
  23. I'd love to see them do more original musicals similar to Columbus. I enjoyed that far better than Grease on Harmony.
  24. Unfortunately you do have to buy a ticket to enter the Thrill Water Park.
  25. Agree..it's a temporary thing. Usually hot breakfast costs incurs the charge while the continental items do not. It was clearly advertised in the Cruise Compass on Freedom but I didn't see it on the other ships I've been on since the restart.
