  1. We received the same email from Royal for our Oasis NYE cruise. We are discussing this tonight. Agree with you that they should also have to honor that 48 hour window, as well. Granted the Fine Print blah blah blah.

  4. Does the cruise still show up on your cruise planner? The reason for my asking is that something is amiss on our upcoming Oasis NYE sailing. I've checked in, vax info received, but I have no cruise documents and no luggage tags and an excursion was just cancelled today.
  5. I am not seeing this sailing on the website, yet. I see the Eastern Caribbean dates, but not our Western itinerary. Also, will they transfer food and beverage CP purchases to the new ship?

  8. Out of curiosity, are you able to book at CVS for the 24th or 25th?
  9. Sadly, this is not the case. We need to be tested Dec 24th. CVS is not opening appointments. They are not scheduling tests for the 24th or 25th which is the window for our sailing on the 26th. This was our backup plan. No longer. If we have any issues with our proctored at home tests, we will be having a white Christmas, which I do not want.

  13. Yes, Midnight Eastern time zone. For us here in the midwest, it is always 11 pm the day before. Kinda like staying up for Santa Claus!
  14. I called the Optum store and they refunded us the money paid and said to keep the 6 test kits (the kits had one expiration date +3 months, the website stated another). They owned up to the mistake. The kit that was missing the testing strip was from the Optum store. We ordered a 6 pack from eMed and had no problems (hopefully, as we haven't opened them, yet). I would highly recommend ordering two per person. Had we ordered just one, we would have been screwed (we are testing on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day) as nobody in our town will offer testing on those two days. We cruise on the 26th.
  15. We received six at-home test kits from the Optum store. Unfortunately, they were going to expire before we needed them (Optum store mistake, they refunded us. That's another thread.) Anyway, we decided to use one of them before they expired as DH had exposure at work. We followed the directions to a "T" and waited 15 minutes. Then we realized it. There was no test strip on the inside of the card. Thankfully, we have extras. Just a long way of saying, order double what you need! He is negative.
  16. We are making final preparations for our upcoming cruise. I have the Royal Caribbean app on my phone with all our cruise information, set sail pass, et cetera. When my husband and son download the app, how will they log into it? Do they have the same log in that I do or will they be creating an account for themselves and linking the confirmation number to their account? Would there be any problems encountered if they downloaded and utilized the app. Would love for them to be able to look at menus, etc.
  17. Transfer your booking to a travel agent who specializes in Royal Caribbean Cruises. They will navigate this and correct any errors! ASAP! Suggestion here is MEI Travel. @Sharla
