  1. They will take as many pictures as you want to pose for! Usually they will take pics at the mdr, all over the ship on formal night, right when you get off the ship at the ports, with the captain sometimes. On formal nights you can take a ton! Jane
  2. Sigh...me too! Someday lol! Jane
  3. We've had no problem bringing a plug in that goes over the outlets and gives us 6 instead of 2. However I wouldn't try to bring a power strip or an extension cord. I haven't tried though so I don't know if it'd get confiscated...I would think so. Jane
  4. Yeah...I will just pass that on to my husband...he will be thrilled! Jane
  5. We had such a great meal at chops that we well...my back the next night. We tried a couple new things and got a few of the same things. The menu is varied enough that you could repeat for sure, especially at giovannis where you could do pasta one night and steak or fish the other. Jane
  6. I am so dying to try this class! Sounds like a beautiful ship. I will agree with everyone....Tampa has been my favorite port to go out of! Jane
  7. Can you adopt me? So jealous! Jane
  8. It was AMAZING!! best dessert I have ever had! Jane
  9. Thank you! I'm in dream planning right now lol... with over 400 days til my greek/med cruise on vision, I really can't look ay another cruise till prob spring 2020. At that point, I'm thinking it would be time to try a big ahip! I don't really care about the slides but I am dying to try wonderland. I am not sure if I will try the big ship more than once (freedom was so much cheaper its hard for me to justify the cost) so I think I should bite the bullet and try harmony... but I could roll the dice on the oasis refurb lol! So many choices, so little money lol! Thanks! Jane
  10. Slight hijack here...I know you love the oasis class. I am dying to try 150 and wonderland on harmony. Do you feel it's worth the extra money to sail harmony vs oasis? And does allure have anything special that would justify more (or do you just need to look at itinerary to decide oasis vs allure?) Jane
  11. I'm finding I'm running out of Caribbean itineraries... trying out Europe for the first time next and I'd love to see Alaska! Jane
  12. What was different about it? I'm sure I will try oasis class before quantum, but I'm curious. Jane
  13. I was thinking about my last cruise (after all... good grief its 413 days until my next rc cruise lol... and I was curious how people cruise. Do you tend to sail the same ships and do the same things each time? Do you stick to those activities on new ships? Or is each cruise looking for totally different? I know there are a million variables of itinerary, what the ship offers etc. I know I tend to do the same things regardless of ship. I have yet to try a class or activity on sea days because I'm always on the sky deck in the sun! Anyway, since I have a million days till I cruise again, thought I'd throw this question out there! Jane
  14. I was just typing this. Freedom is a nice combo of small and big. I haven't tried oasis class yet, but we were never bored on freedom! I think Alaska or Europe would be so port/viewing heavy that you could try a smaller ship because you wouldn't be busy just "doing" the ship. I think radiance class for Alaska with all its windows would be amazing! Jane
  15. Hi...so I have been on 4 cruises.... before my last cruise I had 21 c&a points for my 3 cruises. Then the website transfer happened. I went on my 6 day cruise in march, the points showed up (now 27) for about a couple weeks, and now every time I log in it says I have 21 points. When I click on past cruises, all four show up but only 21 points. Why?? And can my travel agent handle it or who do I call? Thanks....it makes no real difference since i won't make platinum until the next cruise anyway but its just annoying! Jane
  16. We always stopped every night ay vintages pre dinner and ordered the next glass right away. It usually came with the entree...it takes a very long time sometimes! Though a couple years ago the wine steward saw I had a 2nd glass every dinner and just brought it right away without swiping... it saved him a bunch of time! Jane
  17. I have a big external harddrive but won't take it on vacation for fear of something happening to all its pics. Not planning on taking my laptop because it's big. I have a memory card for the tablet... wonder if I have one already in my phone...I did on my last one...hmmm! Jane
  18. I haven't but my understanding is that everyone loves the bigger balcony. Jane
  19. Thank you! Or get my travel agent to call! Jane
  20. You won't be disappointed! I have done it on adventure and freedom and both times it was amazing! Jane
  21. I hadn't thought about the food being better or different in the European vs the Caribbean cruises. Now I will need very curious. I think the mdr has gone down, but maybe now that I've done 4 cruises (and more specialty dining) my expectations have gotten too high. Vision had the best service and food (compared to freedom and adventure) so I will be interested if it still holds up next year. I've never done the windjammer for dinner and I have the feeling it might be our go to on our med/greek cruise next summer. We want to do an early dining time in case our 16 year old wants to do stuff at the teen center or meets a friend, but we will miss dinner at least 3 times I think with late excursions. Jane
  22. Jumping on the bandwagon... loved san Juan. We found a little Argentinian steakhouse by our hotel that we still talk about 3 years later. We loved el moro and just walking around old town. It felt like a city you didn't need to spend a ton of money in to have a great time and the southern Caribbean is my favorite of the 3 areas. Jane
  23. I used it in 2016 when I took my husband on his first cruise... bought us a round of drinks. But everything is so not combinable lately.... jane
  24. The soda price increase will prob stop me from getting for my teen... waste of money. I have never gotten the voom before. But we are going on a 12 day next year in Europe. I'm trying to decide if I will get it for the dropbox if nothing else... all these pics on my phone. I hate trying to figure out what I have data wise with sprint and how to set up my free data in other countries. But...if voom and deluxe drink pkgs are battling for purchase, voom may lose lol. Question...off topic but sorta relevant. Can you get the drink pkg and voom combo for 1 person in the room, and only the drink pkg for the other person? We would definitely not need 2 devices at the same time. Jane
