I haven't been on allure yet, but I definitely advise the teens to go to the teen center on the first night... They will make friends and then they usually meet up all over the ship and not necessarily stay at the teen center. My youngest was 13 on our first cruise but many of the excursions we have been on are kid and adult friendly. Just read the descriptions... Any of the moderate ones should be perfectly fine for a 7 year old. On allure, be sure to reserve show times. Have a great trip!!! Jane

Awesome! I’m currently living through others cruises! We won’t get to Alaska til at least 2021 or 22 at the earliest. I can’t complain though since I will do Greek/med on vision this summer! Jane

I’m not putting the pictures in but your windjammer post made me hungry! I have been on freedom 2x and adventure 1x before refurb. I found them alike more than not. I think I will see a huge difference when I go on my first oasis class (allure) in March. Jane

Yeah...I think like vintages, any food you pay for but the drink pkg covers alcohol (under the set price). Jane

Are the points fairly easy to redeem? And does that card have a fee? I suppose I could just click on the link lol...! I put all my cruise purchases on my Disney visa usually so I can get Disney trips but I would love to have obc for our summer 12 day trip since I’m not buying the drink pkg. jane

Do I contact c & a directly if my former trips are listed but they didn’t add c & a points for the last trip. It makes no difference for this next trip but we actually will turn platinum on this next one and I want that level before we go on our summer cruise. Don’t I get to request a robe to wear at platinum lol? Is there a phone contact or do I email? I know the email has been listed somewhere.... by the way...I’m loving your current scopes as we will sail vision in July out of Barcelona... I’d love any and all ship pics you can take! Jane

I’m wondering how well the royal app is working on the ship in terms of messaging and the cruise planner. Right now I’m not pleased....it has our my time dining in and that is it. None of the specialty dining we have booked or the beach loungers are showing up and the ship times of arrival are significantly wrong as is the departure time from Miami. I’m going with the computer planner times but wondering why the app is so mixed up. Jane

I feel like I’m slowly not finding the mdr a good fit. I don’t feel connected to my table mates if I’m gone and they are for specialty dining some nights and at my time our two seat table might as well have been a 6 seater because the lady in the two next to me was pretty much in my lap. We have never tried windjammer for dinner and we might just do that or park cafe. Meanwhile I’m still panicking over the bogo and if I get into 150 Central Park. Look out people when I board...I might knock you over on my way to book times! Jane

Also if price is an issue this late, consider the freedom class which has great ships with tons to do at sometimes a great price! Jane

Ok...I’m truly not understanding this whole process and how it works. Has @Matt written on specifics (this would be a good podcast lol) or can someone link me to a previous topic if it’s been discussed to death? I’m in an interior on allure and while I would hate to lose my location (just outside Central Park) I would love a bigger room or natural light. I’m getting panicky about claustrophobia! Jane

We loved being there pre-cruise but would love a good self-guide tour on my phone since this will be my 16 year old’s first visit and with the short time I don’t want to miss anything. I’m very directionally challenged so here is hoping lol. Hope the fort is open for you...Rocky Mountain was closed last week but you could still get in and hike. Jane
