  1. The last dream I remember was as a four or five year old (in the late 1960s) - Mickey Mouse was killed in a car wreck.
  2. Which reindeer is the favorite partner at the Reindeer Ball? Dancer
  3. What's the first thing Santa's helpers learn? The elf-abet
  4. There's the rub - I would not be able to relax appropriately to justify the expense of the cruise. My relaxation doesn't come in the form of sitting around in the cabin/on the balcony or hanging out in the casino for hours on end. I am active and outside most of the time. Masks required while on deck is a 100% deal breaker for me.
  5. More relevant - will people schedule cruises while a mask is required of them. My wife - yes. Me - not a chance.
  6. In June 2019 we were on a cruise out of San Juan with a mass Quinceañera celebration. Way more than 40 of them.
  7. Interestingly, the 12 night Miami to Galveston repositioning on Explorer (April 23) that my wife and friends have booked has not suffered the same fate.
  8. That's just selfie-videos in action. I would consider that LESS strange on a cruise than in everyday life.
  9. Exactly the problem we encountered with one of two staterooms from May. At least you had your money in 78 days - we're at 236 and counting.
  10. Theoretically. Part of the money from our cancelled May cruise is still outstanding, despite multiple calls to get it corrected. Refund request was made April 12. We are just a week away from it being 8 months when the promised timing was originally 30 days (since extended to 45 days). BTW - that 30-45 days is not calendar days - it's business days, so 6-9 weeks is the theoretical timing not 4-6 weeks.
  11. Cancellations always come after they have the money in THEIR account. Then the refund process takes 30-45 days from the time a refund is requested (in theory - my reality is that we still don't have part of the refund money from a cancelled May cruise with an April request for refund).
  12. I would love to have some of those options on a regular basis, especially the breakfast bowl. Of course, I'd get that with a triple side of bacon. ?
  13. Now that December has arrived: How is Christmas like a defective alphabet? No L
  14. With the time required to get to Europe (and back) from the US, a longer trip makes sense and a B2B is a good way to accomplish that. Just because the cruises are port intensive doesn't mean you have to do something specific in every port (says the guy who DOES do something in every port).
  15. Each dinner on the cruise is approximately equal in calories to those consumed for Thanksgiving dinner. Total for the day on the cruise exceeds total for the day on Thanksgiving.
  16. Yes it does. When you confirm the cancellation and the screen refreshes, you'll see the OBC amount at the top change immediately.
  17. Chrome, Edge, and good old fashioned IE all have the issue for me. Maybe Safari is the way to go right now.
  18. All was well earlier this morning. Just checked again and I see the same result reported by @DunkelBierJay now.
  19. The only cruise planner item that improved on a cruise my wife has booked with friends was the Classic Soda Package - down to $6.49 plus gratuity per day from best previous of $7.99 plus gratuity per day and $8.99 plus gratuity regular price. At least the $1.77 per day adds up to cover one full price adult beverage per person.
  20. Just checked everything for my wife's cruise with friends. NO shore excursions were better prices than already purchased (7 different excursions). In fact, one was MORE expensive than has been seen at any other time. Classic soda package (originally $8.99 per day plus gratuity, previously purchased at $7.99 per day plus gratuity) was available for $6.49 per day plus gratuity. That's 28% off the original and almost 19% off best previous.
