Yes, the Genie refunds the money back to you. Same with Chef's Table if you decide to book that before you board.

[email protected]. I would absolutely include that picture. Good luck,

Pooch got a reaction from CruiseRoyalDad in Does Royal still charge 1.99 per day to chat with your party on the app?
We found it mostly useless. All adults so we weren’t keeping tabs on kids (well I was but that’s a whole different therapy session!). One party couldn’t link to the rest of us at all. Messages showing up hours later or not at all. If you need real time contact, this doesn’t do it.

This is a job for your Genie. Make the reservation for 3 & they will get it adjusted. You also would have to pay up front? Then get reimbursed?

Probably a good choice for the poster to whom I was replying.

How do you plan on avoiding them everywhere else?

Yes, it would be easier but still does not fulfill the Catholic obligation of Mass.

The new option for a teleporter in your stateroom- takes you directly from your room to the solarium. POOF... kids avoided.

But we had a hole cut out of the hull with heavily tinted and salt crusted window/rail. It really was the worst balcony we’ve ever had. I’m sure the recent refurbishment cleaned it up but you can’t change how it’s set up. I much prefer the balconies that are on the outside of the hull.

Very true, I’m just positing that the reason other religious events are in the cruise compass regularly is because they are self led. I think whomever posted about attending the Catholic Church local to the port is a great idea, and seems very doable in most ports.

Pooch reacted to CanHardlyWait in Towel check out/return
I must have read this here and did this. Technically only checked out towels once on day one and just kept swapping out for dry at the end of each day to be ready for the next. Less chance of mistakes on account this way.

We check out 2 towels per person at the beginning of the cruise. Then we just keep exchanging them for dry ones all week. Show the attendant 4 wet ones, get 4 dry ones back. We don’t actually return the towels til the last full day. Then I ask the attendant to confirm all towels have been returned & we’re done.

I am not ever going on Harmony of the Seas specifically because of the No Adults Only Pool---I don't want to be around children. The adult's only pool is the best escape. I'm sorry they don't have it. That is a dealbreaker for me.

I agree with your assessment. My response was to state doctrine. I know that most clergy will say go, keep God in your heart and enjoy yourself but OP said his sister was “hardcore”. My Catholic faith tells me be the best Catholic I can. Love God and my fellow man, attend Mass and understand sometimes stuff happens. God loves me anyway!

All of that is true but, for a devout Catholic, physical attendance at Sunday Mass is a requirement except for exceptional circumstances. Vacation would not qualify as such a circumstance. Not making judgments either way, just pointing out. Does any other religion have this requirement?

And I feel like the less times you check them in and out, the less opportunity for mistakes to be made.

@Xaa is wrong and seems to know little about the Catholic church. @Larry Muster see @drjohn4 response for the correct answer. Thank you @drjohn4.

Here's a little added advice:
Don't buy the narrow RCCL-sized tag holders...buy these:
They are a little wider--designed to fit luggage tags from Princess, Carnival, HAL, etc...
BUT, there is no problem in using them for RCCL or Celebrity as well. In fact, it's a little easier as you have more space to push the paper tags in...However, for those of us who occasionaly cruise on a different cruise line, these work for EVERY line.
Also, beware...there are different style variations between different manufacturers/sellers. Some have plastic loops rather than the metal ones. Don't buy those--the plastic ones are a pain to twist on. Others don't have the zip-lock strip at the top. The zip-lock is great since it keeps water out in case your bags are being handled in wet or rainy conditions....
So, my advice: Wider size tags, metal loops, zip-lock compartments.

I'm a big fan of getting 3-4 on day one, and just exchanging them all cruise for dry ones... before we go to port, when we return from port, at the end of the day if we hit the pool... it's nice to just keep swapping them for dry ones so you never have to bring wet ones back to the room.
