Just a suggestion but if answering a question in another language would it not be best to answer in English and then write the same in other language, this way it assists everyone ?

Make it part of the trip, uk to jfk, straight down to PR for a couple of nights before cruise then back to NYC after cruise for 4 nights for some shopping etc

Yip, i look to pay about £500 pp from uk to new york, then have to get from new york down to San Juan which is almost the same price.

The Cruises which have Oman as a port of call are the issue, the area leaving the Persian Gulf going into the Gulf of Oman that's where ships would be very near Iran, therefor at a high risk. The ports of Qatar and Bahrain wouldn't be an issue as its unlikely Iran would enter Saudi Controlled waters and risk starting a war with the GCC.

Every city/town/village in the world is different, so peoples opinions on things will vary! what one person dislikes 100 others may love....

Ive been to Paris 5 times! Why because i like it, however i went to Milan a couple of years ago, but i didnt prepare myself for a disappointing vacation just because milan didnt have the Eiffel Tower! each city in the world is different, so are cruiseships, different crew, different layout, different ports of call, different shows etc etc etc! you make the best of whats you have and enjoy new things.

As You have already said you are dissapointed before stepping on board, are you really going to let the fact you cannot get BLT or a pizza at midnight spoil your vacation? If you embark with this mindset your not going to enjoy it, you will find fault with everything

Last nov due to the fact there were 2 cruiseships scheduled to embark/ disembark that day, it took me an hour to get from isla verde to pan american pier, left hotel at 10am arrived at ship at 11am

Airport to hotel by taxi ( uber not allowed to pick up from airport ) Areas are zoned so fixed price not metered. Depending on your preference you can either stay in old san juan or further out at one of the beach area hotels. Hilton has a couple of hotels on the outskirts of old san juan, you can use uber easily to get into old san juan or to the pan pacific cruiseport.

? i asked as it's the ONLY excuse their attorney hasn't used!! So i'm leaning to them having cruised previously so they would have know windows open in certain area's. And you are correct having cruised on FOTS out of San Juan last year i know how nice the breeze coming through an open window can be ?

Im presumming it was their first ever cruise since they didnt know windows opened. Cruiseship or skyscraper what sort of person would let a child bang on an 11th floor window? ??? Oh yeah one with no common sense.

On FOTS last year saw a woman wearing the same outfit she had worn for zumba class ( sports shorts & Tshirt) im MDR, next night which was formal she still had same clothes on. There is NO rule saying shorts are not allowed, from my understanding this was done away with, its now purely a recommendation that you dont wear them. So wear what you want without worry, youre on vacation enjoy it best you can without worrying about what others think.

Time for someone to grow a set and stand up to these ambulance chasing lawyers!! RC should just say " see you in court" No out of court settlement! Let the facts and truth be heard! Maybe then it will reduce the amount of ridiculous lawsuits thats settled out of court. The only reason people take such actions is they know it will more than likely end in settlememt making them richer even if it was their own fault.

Read somewhere that the child liked to bang on the glass at the ice hockey, now i'm sure the glass ( think its actually acrylic ) at an ice hockey rink will be a lot stronger than that on cruiseships, so as a parent i cannot understand why anyone would let a child near any sort of glass to bang on just because they do it elsewhere. what if the glass shatters? or its not fixed securely and falls out? Risk Assessments would have been carried out and control measures put in place to minimise the risk involved but the one thing you cannot factor for is human error

Finally a subject i am an expert on lol Best cure for a hangover is not to get one :) (1) know your limits and know when to stop! (2) know what you can and cannot drink! i cannot touch whisky, can drink any other spirit but even just 1 whisky makes me sick, same with Guinness, i can have 2 pints but a 3rd gives me a thumping headache in behind the eyes next day. (3) Drink milk in the morning and before going to bed ( order the free room service breakfast and get extra milk to keep in refrigerator) drinking milk helps keep your potassium level up, eating Banana's or having a Banana milkshake is just a good. (4) Dont mix your drinks that much (5) pace yourself, you dont have to knock them back in seconds (6) If all of the above fail and you wake up feeling rough then you need a hair of the dog. (7) if hair of the dog fails then just get hammered again that way you wont noticed the hangover from the day before :)

Same way as you. If you have made arrangements for RC to take you from Airport to cruiseship then they will ensure your luggage is also taken care of, if you are just grabbing a taxi then you just do what you would do if it was any other holiday that being go to carousel collect your luggage then wheel it out to taxi.
