Some can still test positive after 10 days isolation which is why those who have had covid [ think its 90 days prior to boarding ] do not have to test to board, do not have to test to fly or even test on land if they dont feel to good. In fact its encouraged you do not test after getting it simply because results can still show positive for a long period afterwards

The reason behind shortage is cleared up by a crew member onboards blog. so if you have 100 crew and 25 have to quarantine then your staffing lvl is only 75% to deal with 100% passengers! 100 % correct...I honestly cannot remember the last time i purchased anything with cash! Its always debit card as its so much easier. Problem with using cards abroad though is if you get hit with international transaction fees. If something like coffee in a cafe is €8.20 you would probably leave the shrapnel..in other words the coins you get in your change. If out for a meal ( not a fast food joint) you leave what you want, you wont get chased down the street by an upset waitress if you dont leave a tip lol however even just leaving the shrapnel is appreciated, tip jars on counter beside till are a common sight.
