  1. If you are driving down there is a drive through expresstest centre in Southampton.
  2. All of these test requirements fry my brain i know it was bad enough for me planning to go to US which was only one rule, so i cannot begin to imagine how stressful it is for those other side of pond wanting to visit a few countries in EU where rules differ depending which country you are in.
  3. Could be wrong but dont think these tests are available in UK
  4. I believe the main issue is the fact countries have different requirements so RC has just decided 2 vaccines and booster for all sailings no matter where about in Europe sailing is from.
  5. Use the same as you do in US and you will be fine, if this is not possible then there is foc testing available at copenhagen airport
  6. You can use MEI travel which is a US based TA for any future bookings.
  7. No you didnt miss anything! i was simply agreeing with the part you mentioned in T&Cs and how even though people sign it some complain and want $$$$ Wasnt a negitive on your post
  8. When booking a cruise we are happy to sign the agreement knowing things may change yet when things do change its amazing how quickly some people post on here complaining and one of the 1st things they mention is compensation.
  9. If all of the details required by RC are on certificate i cant see how they would know unless it states its an unsupervised home test on it. Personally i wouldnt take the chance! Boots and Lloyds have tests at £30 so for the sake of an extra £18 i would play safe
  10. If you click link and scroll down Randox website there is a section for clinic appointments which will be supervised by Randox Staff. If you are able to go to one of the clinics listed on Randox website then these tests are suitable so TA is correct.
  11. Thanks for this info Do you know if the certificates they issue have all the required details needed by RC for boarding
  12. https://www.expresstest.co.uk/?utm_source=affiliate_marketing&utm_medium=cnctia&utm_campaign=02.2021&reqid=38808217&affid=1281 They are in most major airports so must be recognised for travel.
  13. Yeah there comes a time you have to hang up the trabs and retire
  14. If his 2nd dose was under 270 days then he is considered fully vaccinated and as per RC statement get off ship freely. 1 very simple question was needed how long since your 2nd dose, answer to that determines everything else
  15. ICF75 when did you get your 2nd dose of vaccine? If it was over 270 days ago then you need the booster if it was under 270 days at timeyou sail then you do not. Thats what it says on the post thats been quoted and highlighted red.
  16. I was just being diplomatic really wanted to say because of all the selfish gits who abuse the system and think rules dont apply to them as they are better and more deserving than others! But i refrained and went with the diplomatic approach!
  17. The simple answer is because of those who abuse the system. Those who unlike you who dont need a service animal but say they do just so they can take it everywhere they go. Its because of these people that rules change
  18. On our 1st cruise for my 50th my wife was a little disappointed that RC didn't do more for people's birthday's. It wasn't until i pointed out that everyone on the ship could potentially be celebrating a birthday, anniversary or even a divorce that she understood that while its possible its just not feasible.
  19. What happens if your vaccine records are rejected? I'm presumming these would just be shown at port on arrival? And can you still have a cash account for onboard spending? No option for that with online check in
  20. I agree It has crossed my mind that these hit and run posters only do so to cause rifts or debates that end up in arguments just for their enjoyment of it turning into CC. These posts have to be authorised if it was me i would read them then make a unbiased decision whether to allow them onto blog or throw them in the bin where they belong lol
  21. Surely if you went out in the morning and came back to cabin later on to an unmade bed and no fresh towels etc you would just ask for it to be made up? Time it would take someone to write and post a complaint on CC they could be down to guest services raised issue then grabbed a slice of pizza and a beer or 2
  22. That i cant answer but what i can answer is that at no time did i say Haiti didnt have a trash problem what i did say was you cannot just blame them. The problem with raising other peoples issues is just that! Its not your own so therefore you sometimes wont understand or have answers for points raised or questions needing answered however If you are that commited to a subject you wouldnt wait until you read it on another site then copy and paste here. You would volunteer like i do as part of a group that cleans up local beaches and i take my granddaughter because educating the future generations is whats important.
  23. Actially you didnt say it you copied and pasted it 100% as i found same story word for word https://globalpressjournal.com/americas/haiti/young-haitians-combat-countrys-solid-waste-problem/#:~:text=Urban pollution has long been,Latin America and the Caribbean.
