  1. Our advice is...RELAX! Plan as much as you want but be flexible and know you might not be able to do everything on the ship. We have had times when we had something scheduled but were enjoying ourselves doing something else and decided not to go to the event. You will drive yourself crazy trying to stick to a schedule and you will miss out some relaxation and fun.
  2. We have done it a few times. Back in the day when you could buy the Royal cooler filled with beer from the bar...Two or three coolers and the party started on the balconies!
  3. They won't open it. They will summons you to the "Naughty Room" and there they will have you open it...We've had the pleaser a couple of times. I guess they might open it if they thought they saw something dangerous.
  4. Only problem with Wi-Fi calling is sometimes the delay can drive you crazy till you get used to it.
  5. Good luck and let us know how it went. For us...Ain't going to happen...We would rather have it and not need it then to need it and not have it. Besides, we live in Florida and cruise mostly from Florida...Got plenty of room in the car.
  6. The worst cruise ships are the ones that end up being scrapped. All the others may have a few flaws, but we will take a week on them rather than a week at the office.
  7. We haven't been on the Allure in a few years but the smoking side use to be on the Port side, as on most ships. We did see smoking on the Starboard side on one cruise, but I'll be dang it I can remember what ship it was now.
  8. It’s always great when they do have it. Psycho’s favorite Bourbon
  9. Haven't see any crown royal in the bars either since the re-start but they were selling it in the Merchant store. One cruse they had no Bourbon at the start and ran out before the end of the cruise.
  10. We will do both if we feel someone went above and beyond to make our day, night or cruise special. There's nothing better than sitting down at a crowed bar and without say anything...Our favorite drinks appear in front of us.
  11. ABSOLUTELY, we loved the Odyssey...Psycho says his new favorite ship!
  12. We stayed at the Embassy Suites at 8000 Tartak St last time. Very nice rooms and friendly staff. Casino on the premises but we never stepped into it though.
  13. I guess the question is...Where haven't we seen guest wearing their robes on the ship. Think the only place we haven't has been in the Dining room. Of course, the guy standing at guest services in his boxers and a tee-shirt on departure day could have really used a robe.
  14. All they have to do is grab a replacement towel from the towel station early in the morning when nobody is around…The towels are out and ready but nobody around to hand them out. We have seen chair hogs stop and grab a handful and use them to mark out their chairs.
  15. Just noticed the cost of the unlimited Dining packages on our three booked cruises have jumped up. They have not changed since we booked them till today. Our Wonder of the Seas cruise the UDP was $219.99 on the 17th of Oct and today, the 21st its $260.99 Our Adventure of the Seas first leg the UDP was $188.99 on the 17th of Oct and today is the 21st its $208.99 Our Adventure of the Seas second leg the UDP was $250.99 on the 17th of Oct and today is the 21st its $277.99
  16. Want to have some fun? Grab some of them towels and books and drop them at the towel station. Grab a cup of coffee and grab you a seat…It might take a few hours for the show to start
  17. We have seen Royal do this in the past on a few ships. The problem we saw was how bad the Royal staff were treated and how some cruiser claimed they only went the restroom even though we had not seen anyone in those chairs at all. We saw one very intoxicated individual become very hostile to the staff member...So hostile, we contacted security. Everyone knows it needs to be done but Royal needs to back their staff or better yet, have security do the tagging and removal so they could use their bodycams to record any negative reactions.
  18. Must do! The first thing we do as soon as we get onboard is find our dining area and check our table. If it's not right or what we requested is very easy to get it fixed...A simple conversation with the head MDR person will get it fixed. If on an Oasis class ship, we've must get a roast beef sandwich from the Park Cafe. Meet our room steward to make sure they keep our ice bucket full...Lol Attend the Quest! We are hoping they bring it back now that the Covid restrictions are going away.
  19. The dining room and the MDR manager is one of our first stops when we get onboard. Never had a problem getting dining issues resolved.
