I drove twice from Orlando to Miami/Ft . Lauderdale on the same day , it was OK both of the time , I think you should be OK , you will come to the airport around 6:30 AM I guess , if for some reason flights will be cancel due to weather you can always rent a car and drop it off at the airport

Weather in Europe that time will be very good (I did this route few time during this time of the year and it always was excellent) , few things about the ships . Allure is Oasis class and going to be after refurbish , which mean water slides and other new things , Ovation is a ship that was build for more colder environments. I guess the cruise to Hawaii will more relaxed while in Europe you have tones of things to see (only one day is a sea day) you might need another vacation after it ?

In that case I might consider the key program which allow you to check your carry on bags (up to two for each passengers) once you boarded the ship.

Until now (and we will see what will happen on April) if it was a free casino voucher you got the points per the regular roles (X2 for single and X2 for suite) but if you use the annual free cruise you would not get any point unless you upgraded it to the next level. not sure about the other mail offers from the casino.

Its 5 bucks for the machine , which mean if the house edge on the machines is 10% the cost is 0.5 $ per point , so in theory you are paying 1250 $ for one year free drinks in the casino , but again , no one know the house edge of the slots while its quite easy to calculate the house edge playing the tables .

Actually Sky class will not gain you access to diamond lounge , unless you are diamond. the only class that might gain access is the Star class as I guess if they will ask the Genie they will arrange them access (not sure why they will want it) this is why I marked it in the table for SC.

First , thank you so much for taking everyone with your SC adventure, I know its not easy to update as much as you done, you spoiled us ? Second , RC should sponsor your next SC cruise, or at least give you a huge discount , just ask them to see how many people browsed their site during the last week for SC prices , I think you convinced many to at least try and book one. RCL do not have any reason to force you to board on the time they suggest, they want people board as soon as they can , what they want is not to create huge lines , so if everyone will come on 10:30 lines going to be very bad. (unless they want to make the key pre board very special) For me the best time to come to the port is when they start the boarding. I guess most of the times is around 10:45-11 AM , usually no lines in the check in and you can go and board without waiting in the waiting area thinking when they will start to call.

For Araceli I guess its being done in the end of the cruise , for the room service , are they coming every time (even when they deliver cookies) with a bill you can add tip to or you just need to come prepare with many small bills ?

Wow , so much activity and you still have time to add so much information in the blog , thank you , One question regarding gratuity , I understand that in general gratuity included in the price of a SC , but with all that deliveries that are being done to you cabin are you expected/is it a tradition to give some extra tip to the the delivery people ? what about special restaurants ?

First , remember the casino open during sea days from the morning so you can enjoy it during that time. For the evenings , you can choose from time to time to eat something in the buffet will release you around 1.5 hour from your dinner time , you can also tell the waiter in the MDR that you have plans for the evening and if they expedite the meal , I found the MDR to be faster with the new menus were you order everything at once.

I agree with everyone that single room for 4 adults will be very hard but in case it will be the only option there are few things that might help you: 1. Try to plan as much activities outside of the room , try to plan some activities that will be separately . 2. Bathroom time might be problematic, everyone can use the public restroom from time to time , they are kept clean and help to reduce the queue in the room ? 3. On the Harmony you can buy thermal SPA access (I think it is 100$ per person) which will gain you access to the thermal chairs, rain showers, spa lockers and showers, sauna- you will gain access to more shower options and another place to rest and relax (the warm chairs are very good place to rest). 4. Try to plan extra time to organize in the morning , if you have a shore excursion , try that it will not be too early or just start to organize earlier , take turns for breakfast , two will go to eat , two will organize and then do the opposite. 5.Kill fights at the minute they start , hopefully you will not need it but if something like that start to happen , better to leave the room , enjoy the open air or other activity. 6. Set the ground rules and expectation before the cruise , explain the logic , get everyone to understand and suggest how to make sure you all enjoy the cruise. And the most important , have a great wonderful cruise

I think the best will be (and I think that is were RCL went with Q class) to have multi function locations that can serve many different activities , in Oasis I can see how for example the ice skating ring can changed to racquet ball court as it is being used on Symphony and Indi for laser Tag. I do not see any issues of adding more lectures, when I was on a cruise from Hong Kong to Singapore there was a 4 part lecture (during sea days) which I enjoyed but I guess in the Caribbean route less people are interested in such activity.

In JS you are getting : bigger room , the big walking closet , real bathtub, real soap an shampoo, bigger balcony (many will also include recline chairs that will allow you to enjoy the sun from). another perk is the double C&A points and CK dinner access on Q and O class plus check in/embarkation with the other suites

We booked it for this October, so I will be able to share some information before your cruise , although it might be even more special cruise as I found out we booked it during the golden week in China.
