Park in the garage adjacent to the terminal. When you drive in, you will receive a ticket. Take the ticket with you and on the day you leave, there are machines on ground level to pay, which expedite exiting the garage.

I think a small gift to augment your gratuity is a great idea, but I am not certain it is appropriate to tip in the form of a gift (unless it is a luxury gift that has a high value).

I have no definitive date to quote, but by all accounts June should be well into (or past) Q2 2017 so, yes, I would expect it to be in effect.

With Caribbean, Alaska and Symphony behind us, what is everyone looking forward to now for a release? -
We wait to put luggage tags on until after the flight. No need to add any risk of the bags going to the wrong place or being ripped off accidentally.

The boarding times on Royal Caribbean are more of a suggestion than a requirement. Feel free to show up anytime.

I have never heard that term before, so I learned something today

Another "included" perk being removed......
Matt replied to monctonguy's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
I believe you are correct. For many people, this is the principle of having it available at no cost versus now having to pay for it. I think there is some truth to that statement. Nothing on the ship is free, just included. -

I always park at the port for the convenience. However, offsite parking in Miami has a reputation for safety issues people have experienced. I hate sounding like someone's overprotective aunt, who half heard a story on 60 minutes once and repeats it all the time, but you should look into any off-site parking safety procedures. -

I think your experience sums up what a vast majority of cruisers have done too. Room service was something that they used sparingly, but it was nice to know it was there. Of course, if you feel strongly about the change, let RC know. Dynamic Dining was canceled based on guest feedback, room service policies can garner a change too. -

RC was the hold out. Other main stream lines have had something like this in place for years. Not entirely true. There is a continental breakfast option that is entirely complimentary. Also, suite guests do not incur this charge at all. Gratuities go up annually and are independent of this change. Not sure about you, but I welcome my annual pay increase at my job. If I can play devil's advocate for a moment, aren't you usually the guy on here lamenting any change that increases cruise fare? Would you prefer that RC increase the cruise fare and keep room service complimentary? Personally, I don't love the change by any means but I barely ever order anything from it. I think most people rarely, if ever, order from it too. It's certainly nice to have, but now it makes my decision all the easier to skip it. -

Alaska 2019 will not come out until this time next year. Alaska 2018 is what has been released. -
It's really minor, but I wish they'd offer live music in the main dining room throughout dinner. At best, you get 1 hour of live music but I always enjoyed having it available.

Alaska opened up for phone bookings at about 5pm Eastern the day before. Symphony also opened up at like 8pm eastern on the phone the night before. So I'd check at some point this evening by calling and randomly asking. For website, it looks like around midnight eastern. -
