  1. Yes, but it's pretty underpowered. FWIW, my wife would never rely on it. But if you have light needs for the dyer, yes, it will be there. No, app and chat works without a wifi package Yes, dress code isnt enforced Yes, one formal night
  2. I would not pre-purchase a drink package because you are unsure who's actually going

  4. Yes, but name swap is what you want to do. When you add or remove someone from a reservation, it actually triggers a reprice. So what you want to do is swap out your kids names for an adult. As long as someone from original reservation (you) stays on booked, you can name swap anyone else. Name swapping does not trigger reprice. Yes, I do this all the time because sometimes uncertain if my wife can make it.
  5. Which sailing? If it's one of the 3 or 4 night cruises coming up from Port Canaveral, formal night will be night 2
  6. Many times. More than I can count, but I always have my travel agent do it.
  7. The group cruise will be cancelled, but no replacement is available yet. With the new itinerary being a Southern Caribbean sailing, I no longer see the same appeal. I'm also not rushing to make a replacement group cruise decision immediately. I want to consider the options out there and pick something else. Those that are booked on the Rhapsody group cruise will be informed first of the new sailing choice. I apologize for this happening, and I hope we can find equally fun plans elsewhere on another cruise!
  8. Yes, 30 days (or so) before the cruise
  9. Here's our list of the Best Fort Lauderdale hotels near the cruise port
  10. Here's the source of what you probably heard. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2023/08/04/spotted-souvenir-cruise-photos-royal-caribbean-app AFAIK, it's only on a few ships right now. (Wonder, Oasis and maybe Harmony?). I hope more coming.
  11. It's all luck, so there's no real strategy. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2023/06/16/how-can-you-win-royal-stateroom-upgrade-bid-its-pure-luck
  12. The benefits sound better than they are. Skip it.
  13. You can all use one account, but the problem would be notifications and knowing who said what because all messages will come from your wife. I'd recommend having an account for everyone just for your own sanity. Having a Royal Caribbean account is free and the chat feature in the app is free.
  14. I think you're fine with just your bank's HTTPS connection, but VPN only adds another layer of security so it certainly doesn't do any harm.

  17. They're basically advertised rates that are accurate when they print them, but they could sell out at any time. If available, the rate would show up on the website. Nothing special to do, just gotta act quickly. And yes, your TA can definitely book them. Think of GGG as a "cheat sheet" to know this week's better deals.
  18. Q: How long until Icon of the Seas launches? A: We're just one @CHRIS WONG break away!
  19. Nope. There have been LOTS of travel advisories for Haiti in the recent past. No itinerary changes.
  20. Welcome to the message boards. There's enough storage space within reason. Some people pack a lot (*cough @Lovetocruise2002 cough*), while others are lighter packers. I think you'll find a sufficient amount of storage, but you won't have an overwhelming amount of storage on a ship like Explorer.
  21. Four years later, I thought @Traveler's advice was great, and this week's podcast episode is all about it: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/podcast/episode-507-how-make-disembarkation-easier
