Can you recommend an agent by name?

I know MEI is popular here.   I"m good with booking through them.   I was working with an agent and she stopped replying to my emails.  I feel like I may have asked too many questions, but I have been confused.  We spoke on the phone once, but now no more emails.  That doesn't sit well with me.  Are you allowed to recommend a specific agent on this board?  I'd be grateful.  I had a room on hold.  Potentially I lost it now and I will have to pay more as the price went up from the weekend.   TIA!

I am sorry that you are not getting replies from your agent.  I would love the opportunity to jump in and honor the offer they made to you as well as get you to another agent that can continue to work with you.  This is not the level of service that we offer our clients and I want to make corrections if possible.  We are here to make the booking process easier for you - not harder.  You can never ask too many questions - we all have them!

@AnnetteJackson, based on other posts the OP made I think he's currently with another agency, not MEI.

@hoofbeats95, I can highly recommend my agent Heather at MEI. I've hit her with a barrage of questions going into this first cruise, as well as around my cruise on Anthem in October, and she's answered every one of them. We mostly communicate by email, which she always replies to within the day as long as she's not out at a training or informational session with limited access; but we've also done phone calls when I felt there was a need. Not many, but all of them were returned quickly if I left a voice mail, and she didn't end the call until it was clear that my questions were answered and I felt like I was in good shape.

 It is an MEI agent.   And now I learn that the hold I have on a room isn't the deposit type I was expecting, so to change that will cost me $50 more.  It started off well but now I'm nervous about finalizing the booking through her.   The email communication has declined.

Was it their 48hr courtesy hold? Can you just cancel it and start over with someone new?

I got this resolved.  Thanks Annette!  I'm all booked - deposit paid!  

@Matt if you would like to remove this post you can.  I couldn't figure out.  No hard feelings about this.  I was able to stay with MEI and it's all good!
