Verizon in Puerto Rico?

Does my unlimited plan work without additional fees in Puerto Rico?

Ultimately a question for Verizon especially if you have an old grandfathered unlimited plan.  

Most plans include PR now.

We got our current plan last year so I don’t think it’s an old grandfathered one but, as you suggest, I will check with Verizon directly.

Yes, it'll work in PR since it's a US territory. Same with St Croix, St Thomas, etc.

Mine worked in PR, but when I called they said I needed to add the $10/day international plan, and that it would kick in when my phone hit the towers there. However, I was never charged, so I think the rep either didn't know PR was a US territory, or had incorrect information. My Verizon unlimited plan covered Mexico and Canada as well with no extra charges.

Our previous plan (not unlmited) did not cover Mexico so that would be a plus although our next cruise does not go there.  Thanks for the info!

Yes, because Puerto Rico is a US territory.  You're good in St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. John and Puerto Rico.  We have an old Verizon unlimited plan, it charges $10 for Mexico.  The new Verizon unlimited plans cover Mexico.
