Jill Posted July 19, 2024 Report Posted July 19, 2024 Considering the 3 night package. What are your favorites? Quote
SebagoSue Posted July 20, 2024 Report Posted July 20, 2024 Eden is absolutely #1. We also really like the Rooftop Garden Grill especially around sunset. The filet and WTF burger are our favorites. Fine Cut Steakhouse would be my third choice. It is better than Chops usually, though it has a similar menu. Raw on 5 is a la carte so you could check that out in addition for either lunch or dinner. We find it much better than the sushi on Royal. I guess the only one I left off was La Petit Chef. We tried it once and that was enough. The animation on the table is cute, but the food is just okay. I would definitely try out the 3 night package. The specialty dining on Celebrity is really a wonderful experience. Bob_KY and Jill 2 Quote
AGSLC5 Posted July 24, 2024 Report Posted July 24, 2024 Eden is also my #1 and shouldn't be missed. I also enjoy Fine Cut and suggest a reservation there as well. Jill 1 Quote
Bob_KY Posted August 3, 2024 Report Posted August 3, 2024 I second @SebagoSue on the Rooftop Garden Grill as one of the three. Jill 1 Quote
Bob_KY Posted August 8, 2024 Report Posted August 8, 2024 For consideration. We loved the specialty restaurants on Celebrity. I am assuming you are not retreat level (if so, getting reservations at the times you want will not be an issue - plus the Luminae is awesome). For my March 2025 celebrity cruise, I was able to reserve my 3 specialty restaurants at the times I wanted by individual purchases. I caught different sales - alleviated all worries with late dinners and show/entertainment conflicts. Surprisingly, not that much more than the dining package. Be aware of "special dining experiences." On our Apex cruise, we were able to purchase a Veuve Clicquot (our favorite champagne vineyard) pairing dinner. We were blown away. Enjoy!!!! Bmac Posted August 13, 2024 Report Posted August 13, 2024 Definitely Eden and The Rooftop Grille. Edens food is very good but we really enjoyed eating outside and the food was excellent. We were concerned about the weather due to being a TA cruise in early May but we actually had very nice weather except for one day. Pro tip for Eden when you show up ask to be seated near the kitchen so you can watch the staff preparing your meal. You can see the sea at most other venues, watching them prepare the meals is like dinner and a show. Jill, Bob_KY and SebagoSue 3 Quote

We’re doing Norwegian fjords so I’m thinking if we do rooftop, better do the first night leaving Southampton Bmac 1 Quote

Le Petit Chef's new schedule is not available. I wonder if it's fleet wide? IMO Le Petit Chef provided for a unique presentation (food and characters running across your plate.) But I was never impressed with the food. Maybe this is a more serious, upscale menu. Bob_KY and SebagoSue 2 Quote
Bob_KY Posted September 5, 2024 Report Posted September 5, 2024 @Cruisellama. I looked at Le Grand Bistro, basically A la carte pricing without a dinner menu being published (or dinner hours). We are cruising with another couple with this being their first Celebrity cruise. Le Petit Chef would have been a unique experience. When I went back to Le Petit Chef to see the "new" hours - the date of my original reservation was available but got the "Sorry, there is no availability on this date." I received the same message for other dates. I tried both the mobile app and web site. Disappointed with Celebrity's roll out of a new dinner venue. Quote
Inave Posted September 9, 2024 Report Posted September 9, 2024 For a 3-night stay on Apex, I’d definitely recommend "The Noodle House" if you’re into ramen and dim sum—they do an amazing job. Also, "Steak & Sizzle" is fantastic for a great steak if you're in the mood for something hearty. Quote
