rjac Posted July 7, 2024 Report Posted July 7, 2024 Does anyone here know how much it costs to play the video arcade games on the Explorer OTS and is there a time limit on these games? Thanks! rjac Quote
Ryan79 Posted July 7, 2024 Report Posted July 7, 2024 These are regular arcade video games. Your time limit will depend on how good you are. The longer you stay alive or not crash….the longer the game is. Quote
CyclingVa Posted July 8, 2024 Report Posted July 8, 2024 They were 1.50 to 2.50 for the most common games on Freedom recently.  Quote
josssiii Posted November 15, 2024 Report Posted November 15, 2024 Not much into arcade game but I have played other games like Pixel Car Racer, worms zone, and red dead slayer. However, in general it will cost you no more than 2.5$. Quote
Adword Posted December 16, 2024 Report Posted December 16, 2024 The cost of playing video arcade games on the Explorer of the Seas can vary, but typically, most Royal Caribbean ships charge around $1 to $2 per game. Some of the newer ships also have arcade game cards or a credit system, so you may load money onto the card and use it to pay for individual games. Quote
ScottD Posted December 16, 2024 Report Posted December 16, 2024 These AI answers are cracking me up, just making up game names! lol... just a heads up, a majority of the games are "ticket" or skill games, so they don't last real long but you get tickets to cash in for small prizes There are a few regular games, some air hockey and basketball games, as well. Hoppy2BHere 1 Quote
Jasper12 Posted December 30, 2024 Report Posted December 30, 2024 The cost to play video arcade games on the Explorer of the Seas (Explorer OTS) can vary depending on the specific game, but typically, prices range from $0.75 to $2.00 per game. Most arcades on Royal Caribbean ships work on a "pay-per-play" basis using your SeaPass card. There is usually no time limit on gameplay—you can play as long as you like, provided you have sufficient funds on your SeaPass account. However, check onboard for any specific packages or promotions that may offer unlimited play for a set fee. Quote
MdFormula350 Posted December 30, 2024 Report Posted December 30, 2024 I use to get the arcade credits from the planner prior to cruise, after some bad experiences and recently/lastly on symphony i have had enough with broken games and unruly kids and adults playing games. so decided to not do that anymore and may go in and play one or two games and charge to card and thats it for any future cruises. yeah most seemed to be $1.50 to $2.50 Quote
smokeybandit Posted December 30, 2024 Report Posted December 30, 2024 One of these days AI bots will get the info correct. ScottD 1 Quote
Philljones22 Posted January 12 Report Posted January 12 The cost to play video arcade games on the Explorer OTS varies, and there may be time limits depending on the game or package, so it's best to check with the specific cruise or venue for details. Â Quote

cmdrfrag Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 All these bots trying to out bot each other ........so I asked chatGPTÂ How much does it costs to play the video arcade games on the Explorer Of The Seas and is there a time limit on these games? Â Quote On the Explorer of the Seas, the video arcade games typically require a pay-per-play system. The cost for each game can vary, but they usually range between $1 to $2 per play. There isn't a set time limit on each game; you can play for as long as you continue to insert coins or credits. However, the total cost will depend on how many credits you choose to buy. Additionally, some cruises offer arcade play packages or special promotions, so it's worth checking with the onboard staff or at the arcade for any potential deals or all-day play passes. Thoodt Posted January 21 Report Posted January 21 The arcades on multiple ships are in really poor shape. Â Multiple games don't work, buttons don't work, etc. Â My kids told me to not get them cards anymore... WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
david_jackson39 Posted March 18 Report Posted March 18 I had no idea about the arcade games! But you can easily enjoy racing games like simcity buildit, Traffic Rider, and Car Parking Multiplayer. Quote
kanewilson Posted Tuesday at 12:55 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 12:55 PM Most arcade games on Explorer of the Seas cost between $1–$2 per play. There's no time limit overall just pay per game session, limit pay per game. Quote
