Can we select a different MTD time?

Does anyone know if a MTD time selection can be changed on the web site after the initial reservation is made?  The earliest time available for a future cruise was 7:30, so we begrudgingly reserved that for each night of the cruise.  Ideally, we would rather have something like 6:45pm.  When going back into the MTD booking area, I don't find a way to see if an earlier option ever opens up.  Maybe I need to cancel and then start over?

This shouldn't be a problem at all.  Just go to the MTD maitre 'd on boarding day and they should be able to change it, no problem.

It has been my experience over the past few months that MTD is really a free-for-all anymore.  I show up between 6:00-6:30 when I have a 6:45 or 7:00 MTD reservation and they have never ONCE said a word to me about being early....and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seated.  The most difficult time to do MTD, it would seem, is right before the late seating folks (usually 8:00 but it varies from ship-to-ship) are scheduled to go in.  THAT is when you see a long line. Since MTD is going to fill in around the traditional folks, they are not going to seat a MTD person until all of the late traditional folks have been seated.  So, I would avoid anything between 7:30-8:00 but early is better....at least, that has been my experience.

Thanks, WAAAYTOOO, for your advice.  You are always so helpful. Yes, I figured we could talk with the maitre 'd and possibly get an earlier time or else arrive early and see what happens.

Yay!!  We were finally able to get a 6:45pm slot every night - exactly what we wanted.  I decided to take a chance and cancel the 7:30 reservation for the first night of the cruise and see what was available instead.  Surprisingly, the whole range of times looked open.  So....  long story short, we were able to cancel every MTD reservation we had made and rebook them all for 6:45.  (The reason this issue came about is that RC made a ship change for our cruise --- and because of that they cancelled ALL or our dining and excursion reservations and we had to start over.)  Oh well, all seems fine now.  Thanks to you all for the advice and suggestions.

Help! I've been pulling my hair out trying to find in my cruise planner where my MDR dining time is. I've looked everywhere and don't find it. I thought that when I made the reservation online on the RC site I had selected MDR late seating but when I called RC on another matter she asked me to select dining, like it never took during my reservation. She also asked for my bed arrangement selection, which is always together, but she said it wasn't in my reservation. So, she got me set up on that but now I'm 44 days from sailing and did online check in yesterday and thought I'd check dining stuff and cannot find anywhere about MDR at all. Can anyone direct me to where I might find it in the CP? I've looked under Dining (I do see my specialty res and the option for My Time), I've looked under "Cruise Details", I've looked under "Plan My Cruise", I've looked under "View Cruise Details", I've looked at "View Boarding Pass", believe me, I've looked everywhere in my CP in the app and on the desktop. It's driving me crazy. LOL In the past I was always able to find dining time selection and bedding preference but in this version of CP I can find neither.

Aha! The one place I didn’t look. I was looking for it in the cruise planner and app and it’s nowhere to be found but it is on my booking invoice. Thank you. 
 

I know I’m older verdienst of the cruise planner you could see and change you MDR selection and bedding selection. I don’t see bedding on my invoice or anywhere in the app but RC confirmed together selection when I called them a few weeks ago on another issue. Just weird we can’t see that info online anymore.

Thank you. I guess my app just isn’t showing the info yet. I have no Dining section there. Guess that answers the question of why I can’t find it.
