Tmsmit16
Looking at booking a cruise next November and while looking check prices on Royals website, Expedia, and Cheap Caribbean with prices being significantly better on Expedia and Cheap Caribbean. I also messaged several travel agents and their prices reflected what I saw on royals website. Are there any issues with booking through the third party sites? Xaa
It's likely they have some group space on those particular cruises. Issues would just be the same as dealing with anyone. Do your due diligence to check them out.
smokeybandit
There are plenty of TAs/3rd party websites that will give you a legit good deal on a cruise. But you risk terrible support from them in the event you have future questions/changes/other needs of them about that cruise. That's not to say you're guaranteed to get no response if you call them back. Just a risk. Ryan79 and teddy
Ryan79
Many people learned the hard way during the pandemic what can happen if you use a 3rd party site. CruiseGus
teddy
We ran into problems with an online Expedia hotel room booking years ago. They say they’ll help with any issues, but when you arrive at 11 pm after driving all day and there’s no room in your name, they don’t seem to be around. Matt
The #1 reason not to book through a website is the lack of service you can get from them, as well as fees for their services they levy (in addition to any from the cruise line).
