Question on bringing wine on board

I am wondering if we will be supplied a wine opener and wine glasses in our room for the wine we bring on board to enjoy in our room.  We will be sailing harmony of the seas.

If you have corked wine, you can just bring your own opener. But there are plenty of screw cap wines these days.

As for glasses, you can ask your room steward

We used to get a Royal Caribbean branded corkscrew when we asked but I have not seen them lately. Last cruise we got a corked wine and glasses from the casino but no corkscrew. No worries, the wife always packs one in case of emergency.

Thank you for letting me know I guess corkscrews are not easy to get anymore from them.  I will bring one along

My room steward provided corkscrew and glasses for cabin when requested.

We travel with a corkscrew.  When the cabin attendant forgets to leave the wine glasses you can ask for a couple glasses at any bar.  The bartenders are always happy to accommodate.

Never had an issue with the room stew finding a cork screw for us, never took more than a day for it to show up on the counter, along with the proper style glasses.

Ok great I think I will still bring along a corkscrew just in case but nice to know you can typically get one when you ask and I like the fact I can just pick up wine glasses at the bar great information from everyone thank you for all of your help.

Hi, we’ve not cruised before so these might sound silly questions but….

1) if you bring wine on, can you have it at dinner?

2) did I read somewhere there is a corkage fee? If this is right then does it still apply if you drink in your room?

3) how do people chill the wine if it’s not a bottle of red?

yes, applies if opened in a restaurant or bar.

In reality, it's rarely enforced. But it could be.

And your stateroom attendant can bring one to your room if you want to keep your wine chilled there.
