This recipe project is about recreating Royal Caribbean cocktails at home. I've been successful with a majority of them but this is a tough one. I didn't order it on Icon so I don't really know how it's supposed to look like. I have the official recipe but I feel like I didn't get the "look" right. Pictures posted by FB friends look different too.

Yours in the recipe looks like one of the four different pictures you posted. If those are all from the Icon, clearly the bartenders don't know what it should look like.

Royal's picture is the first from left. The second one (mine) is the same as the one on the recipe card.  I'm thinking it's the Passion Fruit Guava Base that's causing the variance in the appearance of the cocktail.  I think they use clarified pineapple and lime juice on the ships to make the base.  These juices have the tendency to "cloud" the cocktail when shaken.

THE PERFECT VUE

Wonder and Utopia of the Seas

I am thankful for friends who got out of their way to find this recipe for me which was hard to find.  A bartender shared it from memory because it wasn't in the bartenders' guide.   Some friends also sent me photos of the drink and the Vue Bar menu.

SIREN’S CALL

Bartenders at Basecamp use ready made Mauby Syrup for this cocktail. I made mine at home with mauby bark from a local Caribbean store and some spices.

For the Dragon Fruit Lime Juice, they use powder.  This powder is only sold for commercial uses so I used frozen fruit instead.

I call this a "tip-the-bartender-well" type of drink. There are so many ingredients and it takes several steps to create it.

This is a good challenge for the home bartender.  Note that the "exotic fruit blend" is a pre-made mix.  That's why the measurements for a single serving seem weird.

For some trivia, this is the drink featured on the Basecamp menu.

The drinks at The Lemon Post come in pairs - one alcoholic and one non-alcoholic.   The non-alcoholic version of this cocktail is the “Lifesaver Lemonade.”

If you’re making this at home, watch out for the units of measurement.  Some are in ounces and some are in teaspoons.

I have read through all of this...amazing list and details!!

I have been looking for and cant seem to find anyone who knows or remembers what was I believe called a frozen caribbean cooler. It was an orange/pink color....defn made with a blender. It used to be on the older drink menu's(last time we had one was 2019 on Harmony i believe)

We have asked on subsequent cruises,  but have yet to find  a bartender that remembers(or maybe doesn't want to make them..lol)

Anyone remember or have an idea of ingredients for that one?...would be appreciated if they do!

I can only think of the Coco Loco aka the Labadoozie.

This is the Caribbean Cooler I've got on my list

I found this recipe from a 2008 recipe/guide.
(Looks like it will turn orange/pink when blended)

CARIBBEAN COOLER

2 oz. Cruzan Coconut rum
3 oz. pineapple juice
3 oz. cranberry juice

Fill shaker with ice & add all ingredients. Shake & strain over ice
