Karen Wardle
I have sailed with royal carribean and love the ships. The hospitality food and entertainment have been GREAT. I decided to do a Christmas gift for my children and the booking has definitely been nothing but painful. My first call with your customer service I told them I wanted to book a group of 32 people and needed 8 rooms. He said they could do that as a group so we would be together. I told him I had 12 children under the ages of 12 that would sail free. thanks. He then started the booking. I did not have all birthdays so he said to just give him the names and I was to add dates later. If not I would miss out on the promotion. Then the nightmare started. I called up a couple days after to make sure it was done under the booking group. She informed me that it would not make any difference and that they don't offer group booking on this cruise. She was kinda rude and sound irritated with me. I called a couple of times again to get names on rooms and organize rooms so kids would be in the middle with adults. Each time it was about a 2 hr wait. The last time I called I did get all dates in but had to pay more because when booking he put some kids as younger anyway when I asked about organizing rooms so kids could be in the middle or close to parents I got a very negative strong response. I had to compose my tears and finally just said I'm sorry I know this is as hard for you as it's been for me I do feel that your customer service needs more training cause I got lots of different answers saying they could change rooms and couldn't. I hope you will listen to the recordings too help make changes and simplify the bookings. Not sure if I could go through it again. Thanks for the service and promotions you do offer. I am still trying to find out if we get to have our dinner together as a family. If you could help in anyway I would appreciate an email. SpeedNoodles
Hi, @Karen Wardle. Royal Caribbean Blog is a fan site, and is unaffiliated with Royal Caribbean, Int., therefore they will not read your message. That being said, if you have just booked this in the last 30 days, you could transfer the bookings to a good Travel Agent who could certainly help you out with the issues. twangster
Cruise bookings are more complex than booking 8 hotel room in a city somewhere. A travel agent costs you nothing and would have saved most of your aggravation if not all of your aggravation. DoomSlayer
Xaa
I'll echo the two above me @Karen Wardle. Get in touch with MEI travel, they'll do the heavy lifting for you and it won't cost you a thing. Neesa and FloatyBoaty
Neesa
@Karen Wardle if it's been inside of 30 days go to the home page here and fill in the particulars. I use @Sharla [email protected] and her email communications are lightening fast. But if you are comfortable submit the info and someone will reach out here as well, this is how i met Sharla. Good luck with your planning, hoping for you it's within 30 days since you started this process and they will get things sorted ASAP.
