zjennk Posted August 30, 2022 Report Posted August 30, 2022 We currently booked in an aft corner Jr Suite 8088 for a Canada/New England Cruise in October. My husband wants a Grand Suite because of the Concierge but I am having a hard time giving up the larger wrap around balcony. It also costs more and I am nervous because it is under the Windjammer. Has anyone stated in a Grand Suite on the vision and heard a lot of noise? Quote
BB1 Posted August 30, 2022 Report Posted August 30, 2022 We stayed in an Owner's suite on Grandeur which is essentially the same ship. We were under the Windjammer and yes, there was a lot of noise, both early in the morning and until it closed around 9pm. I was surprised that they put the best suites in such a noisy spot but they did. Quote
WAAAYTOOO Posted August 30, 2022 Report Posted August 30, 2022 Make that 2. I will never stay in another full suite on a Vision class ship that is beneath the WJ. The noise was awful. I am booked in a 2 BR GS on Rhapsody in 2024 but it’s one of those that are amidships. If that turns out to be a mistake, that will be IT for suites on Vision class ships. CruiseGus 1 Quote
bobroo Posted August 30, 2022 Report Posted August 30, 2022 A Fall Foliage cruise and considering giving up one of the fleet wide top coveted cabins for??? Free draft beer? A gold colored Seapass? An armoire? Free copy and fax service? A doorbell? <puzzled look> The best cabins are NOT the ones that are the most expensive. BeachGal, Ryan79 and USCG Teacher 3 Quote

Ryan79 Posted August 30, 2022 Report Posted August 30, 2022 Aft and corner are two of my most favorite words when it comes to a cabin!! USCG Teacher 1 Quote
