Dave and Anne
We are on Harmony of the Seas boarding 4/24. What is the best option to find out if there will be a Mass on the ship? Thank you.
twangster
Perhaps reaching out to Royal with a DM on social media like twitter or FB.
LCWind
Unfortunately no Sunday Mass on a typical weekend. They may get a priest on board on an Easter and a Christmas sailing.
wordell1
Yes, definitely not common to have a mass on a ship outside of the big holidays. You can get masses on You Tube that are posted same day and meant for people who are unable to attend. Probably your best option. HeWhoWaits
Another option is to find a parish near the port and attend Mass in person before heading to the ship. We did this once for an Easter departure in San Juan.
Dave and Anne
Thank you. Was wondering if a priest was onboard and wanted to make it publicly known, would a place like guest services have that information for possible daily masses. Generally this only happens if it is organized ahead of time as a group or such. Facilities are made available for 'self led' religious services so if a religious leader was on the ship and wanted to lead he/she could certianly do so but it is not a regular thing. I believe 15-20 years ago Catholic/Christian services were a regular thing on cruises but no longer. Perhaps they were not well attended or perhaps in the spirit of inclusivity they decided not to hold any as people of other faiths would be left out. I believe your best bet is as @HeWhoWaitsadvised and try to find a service close to port.

LCWind
If there are Masses on board, it will appear in the daily cruise compass.
AandD
We have traveled with our Catholic Priest friends in the past. They usually post something or let somebody know at guest services. So, you might ask when you board. There has been as few as the 8 or 10 in our group to probably 40 people at a daily mass.
