2@c
Does anyone know if Radiance is still getting her freshen up before she moves to Brisbane? I hope so we got off her on the day cruising died in Australia and she was looking her age- still love her but sad she had been left to deteriorate so much. Ampurp85
Currently there aren't any plans to amp or revamp any ships. RCCI needs to start bringing in capital before they spend any more/not quite necessary money.

However, if contracts and supplies are in place they could end up in a nasty lawsuit for breach of contract.
Ampurp85
@rjac True but wasn't Radiance scheduled in 2020? Radiance isn't even listed on the blog as a possible yet. So maybe they haven't completed said contracts.
rjac
Didn't know about the 2020 amp and the contracts may be in limbo. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
twangster
Radiance was slated for a "multi-million dollar" dry dock. They never did say what that meant. They could easily spend millions doing routine marine maintenance if they had to completely replace a generator or motor. Since they never qualified how much would go into guest areas we could only speculate. I think she has to get her periodic marine maintenance dry dock done. Without that they could lose their certificate to operate the vessel. So that much will get done IMO. That's all we know. rjac, Ampurp85, Big Tule and 1 other 3
ewo1992
It’s listed for sale soooo doubtful it’s getting a reno https://m.apolloduck.com/boat/commercial-vessels-cruise-ship/567278 https://m.apolloduck.com/boat/commercial-vessels-cruise-ship/567275
Ray
My understanding from discussions on other threads is that websites such as these list ships valuation whether they are for sale or not.
