Hello group I will be disembarking the Allure in Port Everglades in Jan. 2016 and found a return flight at 10:50 AM. Am I playing it to tight. There are some other later flight but they are much more expensive. I'm flying back to Canada so options are a bit limited. I will of course use the self disembark system to get off the ship as early as possible but I dont want to put on to much stress on myself after a great cruise ! Thanks in advance for your answer.

Yes you can. You can use your package to order a glass of wine at any bar, restaurants, WindJammer, specialty restaurants, and main dining room. Depending what package you have, has jticarruthers mentioned, you may or may not have to pay the difference.

Yes Mike, thanks for your comment, you are right. I did check with my travel agent and that is the only way. But the price I paid when I booked for my cruise was at the time much lower than it is today so I'd would end up loosing money by doing that.

Does someone know if existing reservation can benefits this promotion ? I'm sailling in Jan. 2016. I tried to do so on my cruise planer, but it's coming out at full price. Should I call RC and buy the packages trough customer services ? Thanks

Hello ang73 Very good question you have. I've used a TA to booked my January 2016 cruise on Allure. Booked on July 2014 (long wait yeah) Was the same price anyway. Since then, havent seen any price drops to my cruise. Only an on board credit that came later that year. My TA was never in charge of looking for better prices for me, that was my job. And whenever I saw something on RC web site I taught might apply to me I just called them, and then I'ts there job to check if they can apply it to my cruise. My TA said that it is the custumer responsability to check for better deal, then call them. And I can perfectly live with that.

My cruise on Allure in January 2016 also had an itinerary changed. Was suppose to have the first stop at Labadee, but was repleaced by Nassau. I'm not happy with that change of itinerary but I'm considering myself lucky that my cruise has not beeing cancelled and/or having a change of ship, or who knows what ?

Just checked the new site and found out my cruising itinery has change for my reservation of Jan. 2010 on Allure western Caribbean. We were going to Labadee for the first stop but now seems I'm going to Nassau. I'm not very pleased with what I saw. I haven't even got an email from RC to tell my the itinery has change. Thanks to the "new" web site, I just found out by myself. Any clues whats going on anybody ? Thanks, Michel

Thanks for Sharing your opinion about tipping Peter. I think tipping is one of the greatest concern for new cruisers like me. I think having the stateroom attendant complaning about the poor quality of life of is family is in country of origin is something we don't need to ear while on vacation at sea. Just like many other cruisers I've saved $$ for months to get this vacation, so I totally agree with you.

I have booked my January 2016 cruise on Allure in july 2014. And so far gained an onboard credit and the price never stop going up. I checked the price evolution every two or tree weeks. I still have 320 days until then and I dont think the price will ever get to the level I paid again. Even with there "BOGO"

Welcome to the Forum ! I really like your idea of renting a car for a one way trip from MCO since Hertz is right next door to your hotel. I beleive that the cost of parking for a week at the hotel plus the actual expense for renting the car for a whole week would be by far more expensive that renting a car for your way back to MCO. Unless the hotel doesn't charge for parking and you get a really good "week price" from Hertz. Enjoy your cruise ! Hope your childrens will have a good time.

Matt is right, the cruise line wont mind about how much you bring back. But the important thing is to check what are the rules to bring back alcool in your country when you go through the customs back in port. There is, as you mentioned, a limit on how many an adult can bring back. For us in Canada, it's 1.14 L per person. They will let you go with two 750 ml of wine or liquor. I beleive it's about the same for US resident. You might want to check the US custom web site.

I dont know if I'll ever cruise with Carnival (never did) But it's a good thing you gave them a second chance. Thanks for sharing with us. Things changes so fast I this industry. I also beleive that Royal offers a superior product but I think they know it too. And that's when I'm affraid of maybe paying to much for an ameneties that other cruise line are offering at much lower customer friendly price. In my oppinion, if they lower the price of some activities or packages, they would sell more and overall make more money. Just look at activities on Labadee, everything not "included" are rather pretty expensive.

Would buy it for sure, altough travelling with Carnival is not my idea of a cruise vacation. But that is indeed very cheap. I dont think we'll see Royal do something like that in short term.

That's a very good topic. I don't want to blame anyone here but my opinion is that parents need to pay more attention to their children. I can't juge, I don't know the full story, but I totally agree with monctonguy. It's a very unfortunate accident. Hope the kid will be fine.

Never cruise with Royal Caribbean yet (or any other) But I'm booked on Allure Jan 2016.Western I Wanted to go on that ship since it was Built. Already a fan. This wont be the last, I wiil probably reserve my second cruise ever before even doing the first one.
